CHAPTER 15 - THE QUEST

Hi!!!!
So, this chapter is a lot shorter. There is not a lot of action because that will be in the coming chapters of the part 1 climax, but it ends with a cliffhanger and there is a big scene during a ride when the dragon riders reflect their lives recently.
The dragon riders travel to Wales in this chapter and the different petty kingdoms are mentioned but I can't be bothered to put a translation in for them for two reasons;
(1) Welsh is a hard language to translate phonetically! XD
(2) They've got a village that has 58 letters in it so I don't think I would I do a good job in translating the other names.
(3) I'm not sure what the Vikings called the kingdoms of Wales at the time but the names that are mentioned are the Welsh version.
I will say that Wales was known as Wælisc at the time (although the Vikings had a different name for it, I can't seem to find that name). The 'æ' is pronounced as 'ay' so it would literally sound like how you would pronounce 'Wales' but the ending would be 'lishc'.
So... 'Way-lishc'...although this could be wrong.
For everything else...just read what you see!
If there are any Welsh followers, can you possibly let me know what the correct pronunciations are?
There's a map further down to help you understand Wales a bit more fromt he time. Don't forget this story is set in 1003AD.

A disclaimer;
I gave this chapter to someone to read and they called me out for referring to the masked dragon rider as a 'thing'. I was told it would be offensive. (-_-)
First of all, I'm not somebody who offends people. I don't care if you are male, female, black, white, brown, yellow, Muslim, Christian, Jewish...I don't care! If you respect me, I will respect you! It should be as simple as that but the world gets so butt-hurt by little things right now, it's like people have to have PC filters installed into their brains whenever they talk that have to be updated every month! It's getting ridiculous!
The Masked Rider is referred to as a 'thing' and 'it' because no-one knows who or what it is? Is it human? Supernatural? You will find out their identity in this chapter though, so believe me when I say, I don't want to offend you!
If I do offend you, I am sorry! XD
