Chapter 20 - Meet the Family

CHAPTER 20 - MEET THE FAMILY

Hi all!!!!

I am back with the first chapter of Part 2!

There is not a lot of action in this chapter, as it is mainly Heather based (and slightly Eret) but this chapter is actually the first of a two-parter. 

You will see the differences in relationships between Heather and her family and Eret and his. 

To clarify in case you do get confused;

Heather's family are the Hellqvists (a rare Swedish surname that has Danish origins. It's also the maiden name of Princess Sofia of Sweden and the meaning is unknown). 

Her mother is Agnetha and her father is Osvald (unintentional, I swear). 

Her younger sisters are Rose and Ivy. Rose is around 20 and Ivy is around 16. 

Eret's adoptive family are the Kaisers (German word for Emperor. I know at some point I said this was relevant, it's not anymore... -_-)

His mother is Liana and his father is Eret Senior (his own name is Eret, Son of Eret so it only made sense for his adoptive father to have the same name as him). 

His younger brothers are Wyatt and Delroy. Wyatt is around 16 and Delroy is 13.

I should also add that Heather is around 23-24 and Eret is 28-29.

OMNISCIENT POV

Day Eight.

Valka sat at the Chief's table and completed paperwork.

Isolde tended to her granddaughter.

Gobber repaired weapons in the forge.

Mulch tended to his crops; Bucket to his animals.

Spitelout was on patrol; Freda minded some children.

Mr Ingerman was fishing with some others; Mrs Ingerman was repairing clothes.

Mrs Thorston was farming; Mr Thorston was chopping wood.

Heather's family explored the castle.

Eret's family explored the island.

And Tristan was on the docks, training others for an attack.

And he was the first to notice something in the distance...coming towards them.

But it wasn't in the water.

It was flying...towards them.

He grabbed an eyeglass from one of the other sailors and looked through, and as clear as day, he saw nine dragons flying...
