"Alison! Let's go!"
"Daddy! Give me one second! I need time!" I yell from upstairs
"Honey! You have a flight to make!"
I groan as I grab my backpack and run downstairs. When we get out to the driveway Cayla is just pulling up.
"I can't believe my little girl is going off to college!" My dad coddles me.
"Daddy! I'm all grown up!"
"Nonsense you'll always be my little girl." He squezzes me tight.
I'm going to college in Tampa Florida with a writing scholarship. I wrote my story down and published it with Nathan's.
I jump from his arms and run back into the house.
When I get to my room I see it. Right where I forgot it. Its a picture of me and Nathan. Next to it in the same frame is one of me and Cayla.
Its been a few years and I feel better about all of this.
I run downstairs again and see Nathans parents.
They both hug me.
"Gooluck Alison!"
I smile. Then I go around hugging everyone.
My dad holds me extra long. "I love you Daddy"
He chokes up "I love you too"
Me and Cayla squeal. We jump into the taxi that she pulled up in and wave goodbye.
Oh did I not mention? We're going to the same college.
The whole way I am smiling.
"Why are you so happy?" Cayla asks.
"Its a new beginning!"
She squezzes my hand and we walk onto our plane. Right towards the rest of our life's.
