"Being rodeo queen sure is hard work," AJ tells her husband Hay Bale. "Not as hard as what your friend Rainbow Dash does for a livin'," he replies, "she's a Wonderbolt after all." AJ definitely can't argue with him on that because he's right. Compared to the jobs of some of her friends, she's got it real easy. Just the same, she feels that because of her role as rodeo queen in Appleloosa she never has time for her children and Hay Bail can tell that this is really bummin' her down. He does what he can to comfort her, but it's of no use. AJ wishes she hadn't been elected rodeo queen at all. It takes her away from her children and someday may ever cause them all to pick up their roots and move to Appleloosa full time. That's what scares her. She doesn't want to displace her family. That would break their Granny and cousins' hearts.
