It's finally moving day for AJ, Hay Bail Sr., and their children. "I'm going to miss this place and my family," sighs Applejack.
"I realize you will," says Hay Bail as he puts his hoof on her shoulder, "it's where you grew up after all." She just ignores him. He realizes he's caused enough damage and isn't helping any, so he just walks away. The children are sad as well. They're leaving their friends after all. It's as hard for them as it is for their mother. Hay Bail isn't concerned. He grew up in Appleloosa. He knows it like the back of his hoof. He wishes he could comfort his wife but whatever he does he ends up making things worse. He knows right now especially that it's best that he leaves her alone until they get there.
