One day as Shining Armor was doing his patrol of the outer regions of the Crystal Empire, he stumbled upon a stallion named Helix who claimed to be the not so distant relative of his father. Shining took the stallion back to his castle to meet Cadance and Flurry Heart. Cadance recognizes him right away once he takes his hood down as does Cadance as well as does a visiting Twilight. "You're our dad's twin brother," Twilight and Shining say in awe, "we thought you were dead." The siblings send word to their parents who come to the Crystal Empire straightaway.
"What's so important?" Says their dad before stopping and staring right at Helix. "Helix, is that you?" Night Light asks. "Is it really you? You're alive!"
"Yes," replies Helix, "very much so dear brother of mine. I've been searching all Equestria and beyond trying to find you." They hug and go to catch up.
"Thanks for making your dad's day," Twilight Velvet says to her children before going to join them. They're just glad to reunite their dad and their uncle after all these years and moons the two have spent separated from each other.
