Just two weeks later, Gilda and the other Griffins receive Davie's letter.
"Dear Gilda," Gilda reads, "it's going well. I've made two new friends: Ditzy and Screwball. They're super sweet. It's great living here minus the bullies in my class. The colts don't like me that much at all. Of coarse, I miss Griffinstone. Of coarse, I miss you and the others Gilda. I hope to visit someday soon. Your little buddy, Davie". He then sends it straight away to Griffonstone. He can't wait for Gilda to receive it and read it to the rest of her friends." They actually end up crying a little bit. They miss him too. "At least, he may come back and visit us someday soon," says Gilda to the others. They nod in agreement. They can't wait until Davie's visit back home.
