Beck's POV
As soon as the SUV pulled off, I felt a pang of hurt in my heart. I turned my head and saw Alexia's figure standing in front of our wall of windows. She faded into a small black dot and then disappeared from my view. I turned back and focused on the trees we pass by, all a big blur of brown and green.
"Beck?" Someone calls.
"Hmmm?" I look to where the voice came from. I see my younger brother and he is frowning.
"Hey, I know you are gonna miss her but it's only 3 days." He squeezes my shoulder lightly. I give a small smile. I see John, who is driving, glance at me. When I look at him he turns away.
He focuses back on the road.
I turn away from him and look at the road disappearing under us.
Sorry, I'm having writers block. This is such a short chapter but I haven't updated in 2 days so i have to give something even if its a really small chapter.
