The tire of a car skids into a stop as the vehicle door at the back reflexively opens, a pair of boots stepping out. As the car skids away, the guards tensed up at the unfamiliar woman but weren't able to do much about... well, everything. She, with her wicked smirk and glinting aviators, was gone from sights and the world turned black before any of them can react to it.

Twirling a set of keys around her right forefinger, Akira saunters past the next corner and was welcomed by a seemingly-harmless hallway. It almost shouted 'Hey, nothing's going on here, just pass right through! It's not like what you don't expect will come at you, now, we're just normal walls'.

Fuck that.

Lips thinning into a thin line, without taking her eyes off what's right in front of her, Akira's left hand crawled up to her waist where she took something from her side pouch. A spray, positioned for use, and a very strong one too. Once it spread within the eyesight, her intuition proved to be sharp when she saw glowing infrared lines.

Either way, Akira carefully yet quickly passed through with the keys safe in her pocket. It was keys to majority of the rooms in this unbelievably large mansion her target seemed to have. For someone who knew a lot of people are after him, he's not very good at being subtle, given the traps.

The catch that happened was, when Akira passed through, the infrared turned to ultraviolet and the lines turned into waves, all intent to come at her. Since the hall was still very large, Akira sped away, but she was against ultraviolet light. It was really difficult to outrun. Try as she may to dodge, deflect, shoot, or send other projectiles at them, all the waves does is disintegrate materials in front of her eyes. She acknowledged the fact that it could very well be the same fate of her bones, but she wasn't going to let that happen while she could do a thing about it. Glimpsing a few control boxes while she sped past, she quickly planted a small square transformer to connect each box with the other before going to the last corner. Instead she saw an octagon metal door facing her, as the sound of the ultraviolet light from behind got louder. Risking to inch back, she leaped up and hung from the bars, pulling up the rest of her body in the right distance that can't be reached by the lights. There's been an implemented height limit to traps even like this, and Akira was grateful she understood that. Curling her body back and landing on her feet, she took two palm-sized devices from different pouches and sent them flying on either side towards the last two transformers. They had green lights coming from them, indicating they were dormant explosives. Quickly followed by Conjured pistols, she shot them, and they exploded with minimal damage done to the walls, but maximum damage done to the control boxes. So her evaluation was accurate; the ultraviolet waves are triggered once someone passes the infrared lines and it follows through control boxes for support. Akira approached the metal door and slid one key into the hole once she found it.

For a guy who knew he could be assassinated, Avery had a lot of time in his hands with these traps. Given that she still didn't see the poiso-

"Oh shit-" A black smoke shot to her and clogged up her nose a few, but her ears was still able to pick up the low growling from a short distance away. Coughing it off, she didn't wait for the barking and broke into a run through the right, and later on found 4 Rottweilers in total chasing her.

In the control room, a man about early 20s dropped the soda he was drinking and looked at one of the surveillance cameras closer. He barely saw it, and to the naked eye it would seem that the four guard dogs to the west ward was chasing nothing, but static found the camera all of a sudden. He replayed the footage, sky-colored eyes sparking with confusion and sand-colored hair almost waving as his head bobs from the keyboard to press designated keys to the screen. His eyes widened when he discovered the silhouette, but not for the reason he even thought.

Akira came by a fork. Quickly purging some of her presence to the other two ways, she ran into the middle. When she was out, all she was concerned about was the one dog that chased her, and once at the end of the tunnel, she rolled over to get a clearer shot. Akira got what she wanted because, as it turns out, the other dog was on top of the fork tunnel and looking down at her while the other was still running. Conjuring up the pistols again she used it to shoot the nearer dog in the head once, and let the oncoming one eat the gunhole before she shot. And then, two more growls resounded in her ears, and from both sides too though the left was closer.

I've had enough of this. She angrily thought, aiming both pistols at the left expectantly. Once she saw the head of the dog, she shot, and then bringing her hand to the ground, Conjured a mallet in half a second and swung it over her head towards the other dog at her right. Her glare got murderous as the door a few miles in front of her slid open, as if awaiting her in a mocking manner. She took it, and was surprised to see the control room vacant. Climbing to the wall and clinging to the ceiling quite in line with the main monitor, she waited patiently.

A few moments later, an automatic door opens and a pair of feet arrives. She familiarized Avery by the description easily. The only source of light in this room comes from the monitors, and Akira used that to her advantage. While Avery took his seat at the biggest chair, he didn't notice it was right below her. She moved after some time and crawled back, making her way to the floor. The silence of her feet attracted no attention, and then she puts her hand behind her. The red and orange flame began to flicker in the shape of a scythe handle.
