Everything hurt. Every nook and cranny of Amira's body hurt. Excruciating pain courses through her body, and albeit her tries to moisten her throat in an attempt to express it, she fell in failure.

"Nee-sama... nee-sama, wake up..." she heard, and her eyes fluttered open before her sight adjusted a bit. Evo was in front of her, hand to her bare stomach. With memories of before she had passed out returning as a whirlwind before her eyes, she shoved him away, crawling back into the edge of the cell room as quick as she could.

"Nee-sama, I won't hurt you—" He tried to reach out, but she only sunk deeper within herself, "I heard everything!" She hoarsely said.

"Let me explain, nee-sama! Our bodies were different and you were made to forget how we looked like before to get rid of any evidence, but our memories are still the same!" Amira violently shook her head, almost sobbing. "I don't believe you! You watched while that... that thing tortured me! When I find Akira and tell Yamera about you..."

Evo's head dipped, and due to the silence Amira peeked through her hair at him. He exposed his arms and palms; tons and tons of scars and cuts pretty much like her own. It's as if they too were whipped.

"Ivan and I did what we can to protect your child, nee-sama."

Amira visibly stiffened, all of a sudden caught aback at how they knew.

"We had to defend the bond you have with Yamera-nii as well, all under Akane's radar while distributing what we can to protect Akira-imoto and Ace as well. Please, just... hear me out." He stood, coming to the door and calling someone by gestures. An untimely good chill flew up Amira's spine as Yamera rushed inside, immediately at her side as he kissed her temple, letting her bury her face in his shoulder as she sobbed. Yamera patted her stomach with her hand below his reassuringly, and Evo stood. "Ivan needs my help to heal Akira. Please heal her quickly, nii-sama."

Yamera nods, facing Amira as he sat on her bed in an Indian sitting position like hers. Evo went outside and located the cell room where Akira is. Luckily, there isn't a sign of a flying Ivan around or a burning cell, so they were good.

"...Kira?"

She looked up at the voice, but then returned her head back down as Ivan turned to his twin brother, shaking his head. Evo approached him, "What's wrong?"

"We need to explain everything, Evo. Not leave anything out." Evo nodded, sitting to be in level with Akira's face, "I know this is a lot to take in, Akira, but we need you to calm down. Ace is fine and so is nee-sama, she's with Yamera. It was back before your real training," back when Midori died and Feitan left, yeah. Akira almost said that in irritation, but let them proceed. "was when Akane took her chance. She let herself in and killed our previous bodies. Once she got what she wanted and influenced dad's mind, she purged our memories and transferred them to these bodies."

"How come we never suspected anything?"

"You were modified, too." Ivan said, making her look at him, "You, dad, nee-sama... your memories of how we look like before, as well as when we first met the Zoldycks in a different time were taken away from you in order to execute Akane's plan perfectly. We were to be her henchmen and in order to do that, we had to take place as family members because she was, too. Personally, I think she was scared."

"Of what?"

Something clanged all of a sudden from outside, and everyone's heads jerked to it. Akira's eyes were noticeably going from red to orange every now and then even though she was still physically weak. The twins lifted her up by the arms and ushered Yamera and Amira to join them out. Once they were out of the dungeon, the estate seemed more ominous than ever. Not just because the lights were out or there weren't any people around, but everyone can also sense unwanted presences lurking in the darkness.

"Everybody please hold hands." Evo said, grabbing Ivan as the chain continued. The sisters held together while Yamera gently clasped on to his wife's hand, giving her a reassuring smile whenever she would check back. Her being anxious about every little thing wasn't something they wanted to happen so soon.

"Stop!" Evo whisper-shouted, pushing his back to the wall as did the rest of them. Peeking through the corner just a little bit, he saw a few soldiers with flashlights in their hands scanning this whole floor. He gritted his teeth with a scoff, turning back to the others, "So she knew there was a chance we could betray her."

"Amira-nee will be fine in handling them with you." Akira said, but Ivan shook his head, "They're not simple people, imoto-chan. They were modified too, possibly made to excel even our own abilities."

"How many are they then?" Yamera asked, to whom Evo replied with "Roughly a thousand."

"A thousand?" then Amira grunted, holding her stomach as she fell to the ground softly. Her husband was quick to be on her side, as the twins as well guided her until she was comfortable. "Nee-sama, you mustn't move that much."

Amira huffed, a clear sign that she was being stubborn but can't do much. Yamera pushed her hair out of the way, and then she perked up again, "Where's Akira?"

"What...?" that was only when they began to look around. Yes. Akira was nowhere to be found, but they did hear fire be started just around the corner as if a flamethrower was being used. And then some of the guards began to get thrown, either by twos, threes, fours, or solos. In either way, they saw that each had burns and potentially harmful wounds on their bodies. They heard loud heeled footsteps, and then the flaming woman herself appeared before glancing at them.
