"Was he stalling you?" Akira lowly and dangerously asks her sister as she ascended the spiral stone stairs. More light pooled in from above, but the sound of Dwellers' mindless moans and Roamers' loud breathing went with it as well.

"Stop suspecting them, Kira. They've done so much for us, coming so far as to let us know what we're dealing with. Learn to apprecia-"

"And is their betrayal for our whole lives to be appreciated as well? Amira-nee, I am a mutual person: If they treat me like a bitch, I treat them like a bastard." The redhead pulls her guns to the level of her eyes as the sound and light got clearer the more they go up. Amira let it pass for now, trying to tread carefully on her sister's mood. The entrance was supposed to be from a trapdoor, so they won't have much room if they find them out early. Using Zetsu to hide their presences, both sisters eventually made it out from the wooden entrance. They came face to face with an infested corridor, but managed to hide on either sides from the wall before they were discovered. Now that Akira thought of it, she hadn't exactly questioned if they had a certain range to them or if their sight is too heightened. Guess they'll have to find out.

"Now what?" Amira whispered as their backs skid down. This one corridor was guarded by Roamers and crawling with Dwellers, surprisingly organized. Akira put one of her guns to the ground as it molded to a flaming grenade, and then lightly touched the floor with her fingertips. "I think that's obvious."

Seeing her point, Amira began to Manipulate ice from the water in the air and formed a bow and arrow gear with it. Then she touched the floor with her left hand as Akira did the other. From there erupted bluish-white and reddish-orange lines that reached the other end of the corridor, which then rose to cut the stationary Roamers to pieces. The ones from Akira's end burst in flames, while from Amira's, in snowflakes.

"Training paid off." She smiled, but Akira was too set on kicking the grenade once it was released and making another pistol, this time not aflame and clearing the area as soon as possible, "Of course it did."

Amira admittedly grew dejected, but she tried not to let it get to her as she followed her lead, watching and supporting her every shoot and slash with her own. They still had no idea how they'd be getting out the front doors and gates -worst case scenarios aside- but the reassurance of the presence of the other must be enough to get them through. Some time later, Akira began to wonder if because of the torture, her elder sister grows mentally unstable and she's only made aware of it now.

"Shouldn't we separate to cover more ground?"

"I know you're trying to save us time of finding an exit, but regardless of the earpieces we were given, we shouldn't push our luck."

"Are you saying you're intimidated-?"

"I have no time for this!!" Akira turned back viciously, eyes momentarily blazing a bright color, hair being set aflame as well as her clothes as the other redhead almost staggered back. Before she could respond however, they heard mumbling and groaning from around the corner. The fire abstained from Akira's body as they inched closer, weapons prepared.

It was the familiar guest room, much too spacious and extravagant for Akira's liking still, but in this case, working on her favor. Disintegrating her guns, she clutched onto the walls for some reason as she noticed a Roamer touch a torch, unsurprisingly unaffected. She however, felt the rush of power deep into her arms as she lifted her right one; it followed by eyes, then walked to them. Amira saw the dazed expression on his eyes, indicating that it was put into trance by her sister... "How is that possible?"

"Believe me, I don't know either." She replied, getting more tense as the Roamer walked to them. When she was sure it was out from the other's sights, she let it act reflexively yet still under the trance she didn't even know she was able to put. It bowed respectfully, "Yakuza-sama..." before an expectant expression joined in its eyes when Akira looked into them. Casting a hesitant glance to her sister, she then issued out, "Bring more of your comrades in my range and conspire to take out the torches, enough so they wouldn't see her freeze the doorknobs."

"Akira, what!?"

Akira eyed her with a stern look, before facing the Roamer. "In the shortest time possible, find a way to kill all Roamers and Dwellers here, including yourself. Act beffitingly, you hear me?"

"Yes, Yakuza-sama." It bowed again, before returning to its post. Some grew suspicious, but paid no mind until the lights began to dim. By then, 10 out of 30 Roamers and 12 out of 23 Dwellers were under Akira's Manipulation ability. Amira was surprised, anxious, and impressed that she was able to hold out this long.

"Kira!!" Amira whisper-yelled, noticing an opening door at the far right corner. Quickly acting, the other Siren sped and just as a Roamer stepped out to investigate, it was kicked from its left temple and sent to the other corner, creating a loud noise and a large crater. It came from a narrow hallway filled with Dwellers that noticed Akira, but before she closed the door, she made sure no one was tailing them. Sending the creatures a smug look, their bodies burst into flames. Trying to reach for her, Akira let them see the uselesness of their purpose as she slammed the door on its face, swiftly turning on her heels as she nodded at Amira.

With no time to spare, they descended to the base of the mountain. Akira was more frantic and hurried, but at least it wasn't for naught when she sensed Ace's familiar presence and self greeting them. Still cynical however, she fought the urge to throw herself in his arms. Who's to say he wasn't modified as well?

He put his hands out innocently, "It's me."

"Prove it."

"...you're trying to stop a switch flip."

"...okay." Akira retreats from her tense stance as Amira sent them a confused and interested look, not saying anything.
