Little Catherine

HIROSHI KUROSAKA'S POV

I wake up earlier this morning just to find out Catherine is still snoring on her bed.
I shake her body and say, "Cath, wake up, morning already,"
She groans, refuse to be waken up.
"Cath, come on, you need to get ready,"

"I'm not in the mood to attend the first class," she says and turns around to hug her bolster.

"Is it acting class?"

"Hmm," says she.

Well, I figure it out already. She still hates acting because yesterday. Maybe she will hates it in a while and starting to love it again. So I let her sleep.

I am getting ready to work my self, get shower and get dressed.
Then I cook for Catherine. The cooking smells good even its just a simple instant curry.

She wakes up. "Oh sweet Jesus," she says. "My hungry belly is craving for your food Kurosaka," she fixes her hair and scratching her itchy body part.

She looks like a kid. I smile while remembering the time when she is really a small child.

FLASHBACK, KUROSAKA'S POV

They are home! I ran towards Mr. and Mrs. Akiyama.

"Good morning!" Said I cheerfuly.

"Hey little Hiroshi," Mrs. Akiyama pat my head. "Look, we bring someone that you will love".

Someone?

Mrs. Akiyama carry it.

It is a baby!

I got excited. "Here, look at her," said Mrs. Akiyama.

"Woah.." my jaw dropped as I tried to touch the baby.

She is beautiful! But.. but what's the light that suround her? It makes her even more beautiful.

I touched her cheek and rubbed it. The baby remain calm. I love her!

"Mrs. Akiyama.." said I. "Can I.. can I protect her? She is shining.. I want to keep her shining like this," I rubbed the baby's head.

"You want to protect her?" Asked she.

"Hmm.." I nodded my head as Mrs. Akiyama handed me the baby.

"Here, learn how to carry her, you are allowed to be with her 24/7, but remember," she stopped. "Don't make her cry," she smiled as she pat my head. "Come on, bring her to her new bedroom, I will teach you how to take a good care for her," she lead me to the baby's bedroom.

*FLASHBACK'S END*

I still remember clearly. The first time I looked at her and she is shining in my eyes.

I still remember that everytime she cried as a baby I was always on panic to keep her calm.

I can't believe that she is 16 already.

She is 16 but I still look at her like when she was 5 years old, or sometimes a younger baby that I have to take care.

I don't want her to grow up, haha. How silly am I.
She is grown up already tho. Grown up and having a beautiful figure and face, as a hard-working and independent woman.

But everytime she wakes up and acting like a child, I sometimes forget that she is 16 already. Silly Hiroshi.

"Nah Catherine, brush your teeth and take your plate, this curry is waiting for you," she approaches me and I pat her head.

"What is it? Patting me?" She laughs.

"Nah, you are a kid when you've just waken up," I smile towards her and she gets in to the bathroom to brush her teeth.

She finished already, and ready to take her breakfast.

"So will you act again someday in the future?" I open up the conversation.

"You are talking a lot recently Kurosaka," she smiles. "Yes, absolutely, but no for today. I still hate the things, you know modelling, acting, photoshoots, and that ikemen," she pouts.

"And that ikemen, do you think he will succed?"

She nods. "He is good, Kurosaka," she stops. "Someday, if I meet him when both of us success already, I will show him that I'm better".

Her face is so serious. "You really hates him," I stated.

"I do".

Then both of us remain silent till I packed my bag to go for my work.

"Bye Cath, go to school, okay?"

She nods and close the door.
