Chapter 8

~/Taylor's Pov\~

I heard the doorbell.

"Who could it be now?" I ask and Penny shrugs

"Taylor can you get it? I'm making pizza!" I smile "oooh pizza!" I say to Penny.

I rushed downstairs and opened the door!

"Heeey!" Kirby stand on the doorstep doing Jazz hands.

I was about to close the door on him but he put his hand in the way.

"Hey!" I roll my eyes "can I come in?"

"Sure, I already have company so why not?"

He comes in and I bring him to my room. He enters and Penny smiles then she says

"Hey, Kirby!"

"Yo Penny!" He says then they hug.

For some reason I felt kinda awkward when they hugged. Oh well. Forget that. He sits down on the bean bag I was on. Okay, rude! I just grab another one from my closet and sit next to him. Penny starts 'Just Add Magic' episode one. So I'll just go along with it.

"So?" Kirby says

"So..." I say confused

"Did you text him?"

"No...... He texted me!" I smirked "that was still not cool what you did though. How'd you get his number for me anyways and him mine?"

~/Kirby's Pov\~

"How'd you get his number for me anyways and him mine?" Taylor asks

Then I remember what happened after Taylor left when we were hanging out.

*Flashback*

I sat down on my bed. I know Taylor said not to interrupt but she definitely needs the help. I had an idea to help her. I just don't understand why she'd like a guy like Caleb. He's not a bad guy or anything I just don't think he's right for her.

I took my phone and scrolled through my contacts quickly. I know I have his number somewhere. I finally got it! I haven't spoke to him in a while. I hope he has the same number. I clicked call and after a few rings he answered.

*phone convo*

"Hey man! It's Kirby!"

"Hey, long time no speak!"

"Yah well I just wanted you to know, to know, I... I, I have a new number! It's for my second phone," I lied, I didn't exactly think this through.

"Really?"

"Y–yeah! I'll text it to you later."

"Ok," he says

"Well I got to go...... Do stuff! Bye!"

*convo ends*

I end the call before he could say anything further. After the call I went to her friend Penny's house. Penny, Caleb and I used to hang out together when we were younger but that changed. She wasn't there so I left for my home.

On the way home I saw her walking her dog so asked her for Taylor's number and she gave it willingly. I thanked her and later texted the number to Caleb. 'He'll find out sooner or later. Let's see how this goes!' I thought.

*Flashback ends*

"You know I didn't see whatever you did whilst staring off into space a while ago, right?" Taylor says annoyed

"Oh yeah," I giggle then I tell her what happened

"Okay that was pretty funny but if you ever do it again I'll kill you!" She laughs then says the last part serious

"Yeah I won't,"

"Kay kay!" She says and watches the last of 'Just Add Magic'

"Hey, wanna stay for pizza?" Taylor asks

She's asking me to stay? Am imagining this?

"Uhm so do you?"Taylor says, I still didn't answer from being a little dazed.

"KIRBY!" Penny screams "YES OR NO?"

"Oh yeah sure," I said and Taylor rolls her eyes but I smile.

No matter how mean she is to me, I know she's kind, I see her around school.

Yo guys! 🤗🙋🏼 sorry for not updating for a long time because I normally update every two days. Also sorry for the short chapter again! 😞😅 I might update again tonight I don't know yet! 🤔 So yah! Oh yeah and I might not be able to update because I'm going to hotel!!! 😁😜🙌🏼 and I plan on having fun, being in the pools, taking selfies, making musicallys, broadcasting and much more! So yeaaaah!
