~/Taylor's Pov\~

Yesterday was so much fun. I was just sad Penny couldn't make it. On the car ride I was apparently sleeping on Katie. She slept over and we invited Penny. We told her all about the day she missed out. Which was kinda mean because she got all sad. Then we started a pillow fight which made her happy again. I want to ask Katie if she liked Caleb or what so I asked her to hangout today.

Anyways enough of yesterday back to the present. I stash my books into my locker and take out those I need then I heard someone calling my name. Well sorta.

"Yo! Taylor Swift!"

Okay. If you guys didn't know, I'm semi-popular. Kind of popular. Not everyone knows me but a lot do. I turn to the boy with dark brown hair and hazel eyes.

"Hi?" I say with a slight smile

"Oh hi. I'm looking for your friend."

"Excuse me?" I say confused "I have many friends"

"Sorry, I meant the girl you always hangout with?"

I raise two fingers signaling I hangout with two girls.

"Dark brown eyes, she's short, dark brown hair that reaches her shoulders?"

I knew it was Katie by the time he said short.

"Ya mean Katie?" I smile

"I guess," he says rubbing his shoulder

"You were looking for her?" He nods "why?"

"I–uh–I was dared to ask her for her number?" He says more like a question

I look at him curious "I don't think so. If I knew idiot boys I'd be saying you just want a reason to talk to her and ask her for her number. That's if anyone dared you anything." I smirk

"Okay the selfie dare was true. but you're right, I just wanted to talk to her because I think she's kinda cute." He said as if for me not to hear the last part

I giggle "okay, I'll tell her you were looking for her."

"Thanks," he says leaving and I close my locker them something came to mind

"Wait!" I yell and he spun around and walked towards me since he wasn't too far away "What's your name?"

"Trever Handez!" He smiles

"Oh and my last name's James not Swift" I say and he nods and walks off

Wait–did she just call me an idiot?

I made my way to my class and sat next to Katie. Penny was in the class next door with Kirby. I heard the teacher was going to be out today. Me and Katie were talking when I just decide to pop in the question.

"So I uh see you like Caleb?" I asked

"Who me? Yeah he's a cool guy but I don't like him like him. Not that way."

"So why were you so giggly with him yesterday when Kirby and I was in the water?"

"Taylor you know me! I'm giggly with everyone! It's my personality. I can't believe you'd say that! Do you like him or something?!"

"No, I was just wondering if you did!"

"I don't!"

"Well I'm sorry! I'm just, I don't know, stupid!" I say and she giggles "I would be okay if you did anyways." I smile and so does she

"Really?" She asks and I nod

I'm lying bold face right now!

"Thanks but I seriously don't like him that way."

We hug and I apologize once more. I thought we were actually going to have our first bestie fight. We didn't but it wouldn't be over a boy anyways.

"Oh and a boy named Trever was looking for you. Oh the boy in your photo! He was pretty interested in you." She looked excited

"Omg, seriously!" She says and I nod "Yaay!" She squeals "so are we still hanging today?"

"Girl yes!" I say

"I'm inviting Penny, kay?"

I nod " yeah sure!" I smile

I turn to see Caleb staring at me. I smile and I guess he wasn't expecting it because he blushed. He was with a couple of boys because Kirby was with Penny. I sit back in my chair thinking it'll be a long ordinary day.
