"So how's my Avy baby?" Remi asked once we sat down.

I smiled. "She's doing great. Getting on my mamas nerves of course."

She shook her head. "I swear that little girl is you man."

I laughed. "Whatever. Oh and guess what happened while I was there."

"What?"

"Ok so you obviously don't understand the term 'guess'."

She smacked her lips "Just tell me."

"Ok fine so y-"

"Wassup Big Bird and Barney."

He called us that because my hair is purple and hers is blondish.

"Get fucked up Shaun. Fat lip ass."

I laughed and I looked over my shoulder seeing August and Shaun. He sat by Rem and August sat by me.

"What we talkin' bout?"

I rolled my eyes and was about to speak when August started talking.

"Roll em again."

I laughed. "Shut up. I do what I want."

"Anyways. Jus, what were you gonna say?"

I shook my head. "Oh it can wait. I don't want Thing 1 and Things 2 all in my business."

August looked over at me. "So you not gon tell me?"

I shook my head. "Nope."

"Boy I'll tell ya my own best friend is a fuckin' lame-o."

"Ant!!"

I furrowed my eyebrows and looked behind me. Ashley and her friend were walking over to the table. I looked at August with raised eyebrows and shook my head.

He sighed. "Ashley I den told you not call me dat."

She pouted. "Why you don't mind when she does it." She said glaring at me.

It was more than obviously she had a problem with me. But that's on her I could care less. As long as she doesn't get too out of hand I will just be as nice as possible.

"Don't start dat shit today."

She nodded and sat on his lap. "Sorry baby. I missed you. You know that?"

He nodded with a sigh. He looked over at Shaun who was watching them before he shook his head. He doesn't really care for Ashley either.

"Did you miss me babe?"

August sighed. "Yeah Ash I missed you."

"Aw that's so sweet." She flipped her hair and it went right in my face.

She gasped and turned to me. "Oops I'm sorry did my hair hit you in the face?"

I smiled. "It's fine I just hope I don't break out."

"Excuse me?"

"Oh it's just that synthetic weaves and I don't go hand in hand."

"She glared and turned back to August and went on with her conversation.

I could feel my eye start to twitch. I rested my head on the table and took a deep breath to keep me calm. She's trying to get under your skin Justine. Don't let her win. She isn't ready for it.
