"Justine a big dog now huh? You a surviver girl."

I laughed at Shaun and rolled my eyes. "I been a big dog whatchu mean?"

"Oh shit ok. But no all jokes I'm glad you aight. We all glad."

"For real cause I don't know what would've happened if you weren't."

"Ok guys don't start again please. I'm tired of crying. Really I been doing it too much lately." I said laughing a little.

We were all quiet for a minute.

"So um.. is your wrist broken or just sprang?" Shaun said changing the subject.

I looked down at it and moved my arm around. "No just sprang. It's gonna be ok in a couple weeks."

"Oh ok."

I nodded and looked to the door when it opened and Jessica walked in.

"I just wanted to know if you were hungry."

I shook my head. "No I ate already."

She smiled. "I thought you would. The doctors don't want you guys eating regular food but I don't see why it's a problem for you so hey why not."

I laughed. "Thanks Jessica. But I wouldn't mind some water."

She nodded. "Ok I'll be right back."

She left the room and my eyes landed on August who had been leaning on the wall since he got here just staring at me. He was being extra quiet but hey I'm not complaining. I just wanna know what's going through his mind.

Him and Shaun had been here for at least two hours now and my mom and Avy left about and hour and a half ago because Avy had school tomorrow. I wish I could've went with them but I have to stay here until tomorrow and my mom will come pick me up.

Realizing that I was still looking at him I quickly turned away from his intense stare. He sighed causing me to roll my eyes. I don't know what his problem was. Like I did him something.

Jessica came back in holding a couple bottles of water and came over to me.

"Here you go love."

I smiled. "Thanks."

"I'll be back later to check on you."

"Ok."

I watched her walk to the door and smile at August.

"Hey August."

He glanced down at her after still staring at me. "Wassup."

Out of the corner of my eye I saw Remi slowly turn to look at them and shook her head before continuing her silent conversation with Shaun.

Jessica smiled at him and took a step closer. "So um I was wondering if you wanted to join me for coffee? I go on break in a few minutes."

I glared at her when I saw her touch his arm. Even though I can barely stand to look at him right now I didn't like the sight of another girl touching him. At all.

He smirked and stayed silent before looking at me briefly. A blind man could see the mischief in his eyes. "Nah ion think my girl would like that sorry love." He said looking at me again.

I nearly choked on my spit when he said that but I played it off. I scoffed and rolled my eyes even though it was nice hearing him speaking for the first time today.

She looked at me and shock was written all over her face. "Oh! Oh my god I'm so sorry! I didn't know."

"You good." He said with a chuckle.
