26. Lost Without You

"Mommy Antny call again!" She said running up to me showing me the ringing phone.

I sighed and took it from her putting it on silent. He's been calling me none stop since I got my new phone. My old one was lost in the crash and as soon as I got out of the hospital I went and got another iPhone 8. I had been wanting a new one anyway.

"Why you guys don't talk no more?"

I looked down at her and shook my head.

"Big people business?"

I laughed and nodded. "Yeah baby. Big people business."

I slipped on my shoes and grabbed the keys to my truck. "You ready to go?"

She nodded and smiled.

"Where to first?"

"Nails then movies!"

I smiled. "Well let's go then."

I grabbed the keys and we were out.

After we left the movie theater Avy was going on and on about the movie. We went to see Moana and it was pretty good.

"Mommy she was so pretty. Way more pretty than the other princesses."

I smiled and looked at her through the rear view mirror. "I'm glad you liked it Aves."

I pulled into the parking lot of Chucky Cheese's and cut the engine.

Avy gasped and her eyes were as big as saucers. She looked at me and back out the window again. "Chucky Cheese's!!"

She unbuckled her seatbelt so quickly that I couldn't help but laugh. After we got out I locked the doors and we walked hand in hand to the entrance. Well Avy slightly ran.

She loved this place so much. It's been that way since she was able to walk. She doesn't like the pizza though.

"Mommy let's get tokens! Come on come on!" She tried her hardest to pull me but to no avail.

"Alright Avy I'm coming."

When we got to the machine I grabbed a cup and put ten dollars in. As more and more tokens poured into the cup her smile grew wider.

I loved seeing her happy more than anything else. That's why I spoil the hell out of her and I'm not ashamed of it. She knows right from wrong and she knows yes from no so I have no problem getting her whatever she wants when I see fit.

"Ok go have fun. And remember what I told you."

"If someone messes with me ignore them but if they continue handle it however I want then call you."

I high fived her. "That's my girl."

It may not be the best advice but I could care less. Don't mess with my baby. As long as no one does. No one gets hurt. Unfortunately some people can't seem to understand that though.
