19. Unexpected

After we came back from his mom's house we were back to being quiet. Neither of us said much on the way back but I'm really glad I got to see mama A again. It's been years. She's like a second mother to me and I truly missed her.

As of now I was using the restroom before my next class started. I had two cups of coffee this morning and I've been using the restroom all day. As I closed the stall behind me someone walked in being way to loud.

"No of course he doesn't know."

I looked through the little crack between the stall and saw Ashley. She was fixing her hair while talking on the phone.

"How do you think he will react if he found out about DJ? Don't be stupid."

My eyes got big and I covered my mouth to stop myself from gasping.

"Yea I told both of them I was pregnant. They each think it's for them but I don't know who it's for yet."

I can't believe what I'm hearing. She was really something else. August has no idea what he got himself into. This right here is the reason you don't talk about your business in the public bathroom. Stupid just stupid.

"Well we'll cross that bridge when we get to it now won't we."

She checked her outfit out one more time before walking out of the restroom.

So she's pregnant? And August knows? He didn't tell me anything about this. How long has he known? Did he know before what happened at my house last weekend? I need answers.

"Thanks again Jackson. Lord knows I needed these notes."

"No problem. But why did you miss yesterday?"

I smiled. "August took me to see his mom whom I haven't seen in years."

He nodded. "Oh that's nice. Are you and August together?"

I shook my head. "No he's my best friend."

"Oh you guys would look good as a couple though."

I smiled. "You think so?"

He nodded. "Yea I do. I honestly thought you guys were together."

"Oh. Well we're just friends I've known him since middle school."

"That's a long time."

I nodded. "Yeah it is. But hey I have to do homework I'll see you in class tomorrow yeah?"

He nodded and smiled. "Most definitely. See you Justine."

"See you later."

He opened the door and walked out walking past somebody.

I froze when I saw Ant standing there. I was gonna finish my homework then go to his dorm but I guess now is fine. I glared at him and made my way towards him only for him to stop me by walking me backwards back into my room.

"August."

He mugged me and slammed my door.

"What's your problem?"

"I thought I said I ain't like you chillin' wit' him."

"You did but I needed the notes from class yesterday."

"So he had to come to your dorm so you could get them? You'on know nobody else in dat class?"

I sighed. "He was the first person I saw so I just asked him but my notebook was in my room so he just walked with me."
