We continued walking through the forest, it was quite windy so I had to hold onto my hat to stop it from blowing off.

"So what do you guys actually do when you come here?" I asked Simon.

He chuckled.

"Well, we come here to collect all the shit that they gather and collect for us, we take half of everything they have. They make us tools and weapons, we rule the new world young lady."

"There's new world orders that everybody must abide by, and one day Enid, you will be the leader of the new world." He explained.

My eyes widened and I was shocked.

"Me?" I asked confused.

"Yep, you. Your a strong ass bitch Enid, the world needs somebody like you." He said patting my back.

I chuckled.

I could see in the distance a small fire growing.

There were two people around it.

I ran forward a bit and then hid behind a tree.

"Psst, Simon!" I whispered hand signalling for him to come over.

He jogged over to me and I pointed to the two people, they were about 15 yards away.

"Hey Simon give me a leg up ." I said to him.

He lifted up my legs and I climbed up onto the lowest branch so I could see the people.

I hid behind the leaves so I could see them but they couldn't see me.

It looked like a boy and a girl around my age.

Simon climbed up and sat next to me on the branch.

I could see them throwing comic books and Polaroid's into the fire.

What a waste of good reading material.

"Hey Carl?"
