Danger Zone Challenges

Soon after Lady C is leaving to do her trial and to my surprise when I go to give her a hug she gives me one back, so I take my opportunity to sort things out with her just before she goes so hopefully it might stop her thinking she's alone in here. 'Look Lady C I really am sorry, for everything that happened, I really hope we can move past it too because we've only got a week or so left in here and I'd love to have you as a friend when we get back to England.' I kind of blah my way through the long hug. 'Thankyou my dear, the fact that you've done that really means a lot and I couldn't agree more, and yes we shall set up a date to eat more of those delicious turkey bollocks again!' She says and I genuinely laugh as I remember her asking Ant and Dec what they were to begin with. She leaves to do her trial straight afterwards and George, Susannah and Yvette look at me just as shocked as I feel! 'I don't have a clue what just happened but I'm kinda glad it did!' I say as we all sit on Yvette's bed and my hammock above it. I plonk myself at the bottom of my hammock, as George had already stolen the top half, and we both put our feet up after I made George take off his grubby boots before putting them on my sleeping bag. We all have a natter for a few minutes before Yvette and Susannah leave to go talk to Jorgie and Brian, leaving just me and George on my tiny hammock. 'Since we can't go for a cheeky nandos in here do you wanna go for a cheeky swim in the unhygienic creek?' George smiles innocently and I burst out laughing. Only he could mention a cheeky nandos in the Australian jungle when we're all going to be starving later thanks to Lady C. He laughs as I nod my head, still giggling lightly whilst I grab my bikini and he hops off my hammock to grab his swimming trunks. Almost as soon as we both decide to go up to the coldest shower ever to exist in the world after changing down by the creek, not at the same time obviously, and Kieron and Chris come down to have a swim, we bump into Lady C coming back from her trial. 'Lady C!' George shouts and I jump and turn to face where he's looking. 'Did you not do it?' I ask really hopeful she was only joking before but of course not. 'Absolutely not darling.' She smiles at me and I try my hardest to stop from punching her in the throat there and then. 'But would you have done it if everyone in the camp was getting along fine like before?' George asks quickly as he sees through my fake smiles. 'No, my dear.' She replies bluntly as me and George just stand there awkwardly literally only wearing our swimming stuff. After that we just head straight back to camp, not even bothering with a shower now Lady C's back, and as soon as I get back to camp I pop my shorts on and flop onto George's hammock, as he's still being dragged into conversation with Lady C.

As we sit and eat another lunch meal later on, Vicky starts to read out a letter. 'Celebrities, in two days time the public will be voting for the first person to leave the jungle.' 'Wow, only 2 more days!' I say and everyone else chimes in on how close that is. She explains how we've been split into 3 teams of 3 and a team of 4 again that her and George have chosen, but this time in a battle to win immunity from the first vote off, the three teams that don't get immunity will be one by one sent to the Danger Zone at Snake Rock, even thinking about going back to that place makes me want to scream. George then reads out the Teams, in Green is Lady C, Yvette and Susannah, which Yvette wasn't happy about at all. Pink was Me, George, Vicky and Duncan, aka the best team that has to win immunity so we don't have to go back to snake rock. Yellow is Ferne, Chris and Kieron and Purple is Jorgie, Brian and Tony. I couldn't be happier with my team with George and Vicky with me but Yvette looked seriously pissed off! About thirty minutes later after I've fallen asleep on Yvette's bed 'by accident' someone lobs something at me and it hits me right in the face. 'What the_' I sit up quickly and see a pink bandana, top and coat fall into my lap as George and Vicky laugh their heads off next to me. 'Haha very funny, I'll get you both back when you least expect it!' I say chucking a t-shirt with George's name on instead of mine, that he must've thrown at me by accident, back at him and it covers his whole face like a tea towel. 'Ha! Karma's a bitch!' I giggle slightly smirking as he removes the top from his head and pouts at me like a child. Lady C kicks off about how she didn't get to go and collect her teams clothes as the rest of us change into our team outfits quickly and I honestly look like such a plank in this bright pink t shirt and coat its ridiculous so I don't even think before tying the bandana round my wrist instead of my forehead. Each team then took it in turns to go and do some sort of challenge, first the purple team went, then the green team who came back pretty quickly, then the yellow team went, then finally it was our turn. When we got to the doors we each had to pick a number, with two of us going into door number two, George chose door number three, Duncan number one so me and Vicky went in door number two, where there were so many bloody spiders I lost count. First we had to get water from Duncan's room to George's room to get a key out but we couldn't figure out how to until I looked in this big blue box on the wall and found a ladle, along with the biggest spider I have ever seen. 'OH MY GOD THAT IS ACTUALLY BIGGER THAN BOTH MY BOOBS HOW IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE!?' I scream and everyone bursts out laughing. 'Not tonight thanks pal.' I say and grab the ladle out, quickly closing the box to keep the spider in, I started passing the water through to George from Duncan as Vicky looked around for any way to get George into our room. As soon as we had the key it unlocked the door into our room and George clambered into the tiny space and we were all squished in together. Great my fear of confinement had to kick in when I needed it least. My breathing picked up a bit as I tried to calm myself down but we were all so busy trying to figure out what to do it only made it worse. 'Who's that breathing really heavily?' Duncan asked confused as he couldn't see us from his room and both Vicky and George looked straight to me with wide eyes, knowing about one of my biggest fears. Now is not the time to have a panic attack Sugg pull yourself together! George pushed me out into the room that he was in gently so I had a bit more space and knelt down by the door to give me even more room and keep an eye on me at the same time. 'Vicky keep looking for the key, Cat breathe, in and out, like you're in your own room back home. Close your eyes if that might help, we really need you!' He said as he grabbed my hand and started searching everywhere for the bloody key. I look down to keep my mind of the pythons just above me and when I do I start to calm down a bit as I feel George squeezing my hand every 10 seconds or so as a distraction. As I start to get back into the second room I see the key on the floor that George dropped. I pick it up and see a code on the back. I let go of George's hand and his head snaps towards me as I start to put the code into the padlock, still trying to steady my breathing at the same time, it opens the lock and I grab the other key out. 'Vicks!' I gasp shakily as I re enter our little room and pass her the key that unlocks the spanner and screwdriver. George pretty much takes charge as everything starts to fall into place in his little brain and he tells me to unscrew the picture of Ant and behind it is a sort of maze puzzle with a key in it. Duncan unlocks a magnet with another key that we got when we opened the box with the screwdriver in and we pass the screwdriver to him to unscrew the picture of Dec on the other side. George then figures out that we had to guide the key with the magnet to the little hole at the top of the maze thing so we could then grab the key that would take us into Duncan's room. We got the key and went into Duncan's seriously small room, that we could barely all fit in, that key then said 'Look Inside' on it and I peeled that bit off to see a question. 'How many seconds in three hours?' Vicky read out loud and I started doing it in my head. '60 Seconds in a minute, times 60 is 3600 in an hour, times 3 is 10800.' I said quickly as my breathing started quickening again and Vicky grabbed my hand as everyone looked at me impressed. Duncan put in the code and it released another key, that we lost for about 30 seconds on the floor before I found it and unlocked the door, desperate to get out as soon as possible. 'Yes Catherine!' Everyone shouts as I dash out of the room toward the four buttons and we press them in sync. As soon as we've done that I take a minute to calm myself down. We were in and out of there within about 20 minutes and I still managed to almost have two panic attacks!
