A new start (bondi rescue)

first evening out

Lucy pov

I got back to my apartment about 6pm I jumped in the shower to freshen up, changed in to some skinny black jeans and a loose top. I decided I would head out for a drink see if I can mingle a little and I I needed to keep awake jet lag was really hitting me hard.

  I left my apartment around 7.30 and walked along to the icebergs bar it was such a gorgeous looking place over looking bondi beach I had been in there a few times when I was here travelling.

I reached icebergs and walked in there was a fair few people in groups of guys groups of girls couples, and then there was me. I walked towards the bar and ordered a white wine, I decided to stay sitting at the bar that way I didnt look like a complete loner.

Jesse point of view

we had got to icebergs around 7ish there was me maxi harrison bacon deano whippet and chappo sitting round having a few beers like we normaly do after a busy day.

"hey isnt that the girl you were chatting up earlier at the beach" nodded Maxi looking towards the bar

I turned my head round and could only see from the side but knew it was her straight away.

" I wasnt chatting her up but yeh I think it is" I said

the guys started laughing

"maybe her date has stood her up this could be your chance" grinned whippet

"she only just moved here today, she came on her own fresh start she said"

"for someone who was chatting her up you seem to know her life story" laughed Maxi

I could feel my cheeks blushing slightly and laughed it off

"go and ask her to come over"said Deano

" go on otherwise I will shes pretty fit" said maxi

I got out my seat and walked towards her I felt nervous I dont know why I walked and stood next to her

"same again please" I said to the bar man

she turned her head slightly towards me and gave me a smile

" hey your Jesse the guy I met earlier right.? she said

"yeh thats right and your Lucy, was wondering if you wanted to come join me and a few of my mates sitting over there

I pointed to the guys all grinning and now waving at us. Lucy laughed

"I dont want to interpret a guys night out" dhe said

" no no your not come on I will introduce you to them"

lucy pov

I walked with Jesse over to the guys sitting round a table. Jesse introduced them all to me

" this is Maxi bacon whippet deano and chappo" he pointed to them all. they all let out a hey I smiled and sat down next to whippet with Jesse sitting the other side of me.

we must of been sat there for a fair few hours coz when I looked at my watch it was 11.30

"god I best get going really need some sleep" I said

" do you live far? asked Jesse

" about a 10 minute walk along the beach not to far really" I said as I put my cardigan on.

" I walk you back" jumped up Jessie

" aww thats very sweet of you thank you" I blushed

I said goodbye to the lads and walked outside in to the dark cool air we walked along by the beach chatting and reached my apartments.

" here I am, thanks for the company tonight Jesse its been really good"

"no worries did you want to swap numbers? I enjoyed tonight" said jesse

"sure"

we swapped phones as we each typed in each others numbers. said our goodbyes and I walked in to my apartment I kicked off my shoes got undressed and got straight in to bed. I had a constant smile on my face there was something about Jesse that gave me butterflies.
