Jace's POV
Speeding away in his car, he stopped in front of their house. He got out of the car, slammed the door shut before opening the front door with his key and walking in.
His phone rang in his back pocket and he took it out checking the caller ID while he made his way upstairs. Ignoring the call, because it was his father calling, he walked pass Val's room, and sighed once he turned in the direction of the balcony. His phone rang off again and he answered it, seeing it was Kimmy.
*phone convo*
“Yes Kimmy?”
“Jace, you need to come to my mom's hospital. Something's happened to Val.” she said her voice breaking.
“What happened Kimmy?”
“Just get here.” Richard said, and Jace hung up.
*end of convo*
He walked back downstairs and into his car, driving off, completely forgetting what he went there for.
