Nikky's POV

She walked down the sidewalk, away from Jax's house as rain clouds buzzed overhead and a slight drizzle started while lightening flashed overhead.

With her headphones in her ear, and her favourite song playing, 'In The Name Of Love', she paid no mind to the heavy downpour that surrounded her, since not a drop came on her.

“Nikky!” Selena shouted from the window of the car that drove at a steady pace next to her. She took out her headphones and turned in the direction of Selena with a questioning look.

“Get in. It's raining.” Jax said opening the front door, and she slid in, not saying a word.

“How aren't you wet? It's pouring out there!” she asked and Nikky shrugged.

“Nikky, please get out of this mood, were going to meet my parents in an hour.” he said turning the car around to drive back towards his house and the rest of the ride was silent, but Jax's statement pondered on her mind.

“Jax, it's not that I'm in a bad mood. I'm just concerned.”

“About what?”

“We're the good ones right?”

“Why are you asking this?” he asked uneasily.

“No reason.” ahe replied before getting out of the car and walking inside to get ready for the dinner.
