Selena's POV
“Why does it burn so much?” she asked, her voice barely audible due to the excruciating pain that traveled throughout her body.
“It will only last for a few more hours.” she replied reassuringly, laying a damp cloth on her sister's head as tears ran down her face.
“Why did we-” was the last thing she asked before moving onto the last stage of her transformation, which would have her unconscious.
Nikky's POV
“I really hope you make it out of this stage..” she said quietly, looking at her sister before leaving the room. She walked back downstairs to see Jax, Ralph and Drake playing video games.
“How is she?” Drake asked standing up once he saw Nikky.
“She's on the last stage.” Nikky replied.
“I hope she makes it. I really like her.” he replies.
“Okay Drake. Keep it in your pants.” Ralph said chuckling, while Nikky sat down next to Jace wiping the tears from her face.
“It's only for a day Nikky. She'll be awake tomorrow.” Jax said hugging her.
