"Math tournament? Really?" Yoongi's voice went high at the last word. He tilted his head, his eyes straight ahead on the road. "And you agreed to this?"

"Yes." Jimin responded. He didn't understand what was so hard to believe a high school student entering a math contest but clearly Yoongi was having trouble clicking those two things together.

"So not only are you pretty, you're smart too? Where were you when I was in school?"

Jimin turned to hide the tints of pink rising in his cheeks. Yoongi however did catch the little smile that formed on his lips from the corner of his eyes.

"Were you smart in school Hyung?" Jimin asked suddenly. Clearly it'd been a while since Yoongi had gone to school, he wondered what type of student he was. He didn't seem to compare to him much but who knew, people change over time.

"Me? I was not the brightest cookie but I got through. I ended up falling behind a year because I slept too much in class, I don't regret it though."

"You don't?" Jimin asked surprised. He couldn't imagine what it would be like to be left behind, everyone you know moves on except you. A horrible feeling it be he thought.

"Nope, not one bit." Yoongi leaned forward in his seat as he turned the corner. "If anything that repeated year was the last and best of my entire school life. It was the year I met Hoseok and Namjoon." He smiled. He leaned back against his seat and they sped down the highway at a constant speed.

"You know," his hand landed on Jimin's thigh, "just because I wasn't with people I grew up with, it didn't suck. I made so many friends that year, people I still talk with today. Like Jooheon."

"The red head from the shoot range?" Jimin asked. He recalled the bright hair when the name was mentioned, it had to be him. He was right, Yoongi had nodded his head. They rode in silence for some time, Jimin enjoyed it.

The wind flowed through his hair and the sound of cars speeding gave him a sense of sanctification. Not only that but Yoongi traced small lines on his thigh, it was a nice feeling. Jimin thought back to what Yoongi had talked about before.

"You never went to college Hyung?" Jimin asked. Yoongi shook his head, "No, I couldn't afford it. I lived off my artistic skills and saved up until I had enough to buy my shop. Do you intend to leave us for college Jiminie?"

Jimin looked at him and without a thought he shook his head. "Of course not Hyung. I wouldn't leave you." He smiled and the gesture was returned. The hand on his thigh took hold oh his small hand and gave it a small squeeze. "Good."

They rode the rest of the trip in a comfortable silence, hands still together. It didn't take much longer for Yoongi to pull over in front of an apartment building. The neighbor hood didn't look too fancy nor poor, average one could say. Kids played on the sidewalks and a few pedestrians passed them as they waited in the car.

"Hyung what are we here to pick up?" Jimin said. He couldn't hold the question in much longer, he didn't want to be nosy but he couldn't help it. Yoongi gave his hand a small squeeze, "Don't worry about it."

Jimin hummed and stared out to a few kids playing ball. Two boys and one girl, the girl was clearly the youngest. They all looked alike, Jimin assumed they were all siblings. The two boys passed the ball between each over, ignoring the girl in pigtails. She threw a small tantrum until she finally gave up and sat on the side walk with a pout on her innocent face.

"Suga! Suga!"

Jimin's attention turned to the driver's seat. Yoongi had pulled his hand away from his and shook the man's leaning down to the window."Whose this?" he looked past Yoongi and smiled at Jimin. Jimin greeted him politely and introduced himself.

"You got what I asked for Zico?"

"Sure did bud and it's Hyung to you. Have some respect."

Jimin tried to not let his giggles be heard as Yoongi forehead came in contact with the man's palm. Yoongi shot him a look and he quickly shut up. The man handed over a box but something inside banged against it. Yoongi took it and threw it into the back seat.

"Is it cooked?"

"Nope. Hey why don't you guys come in for a beer? It's just me and Taeil, everyone else is out." the man shot Jimin a small wink. However not even a second later Yoongi put a hand on his face and pushed him away.

"No Jiho." He growled and turned the key in his engine. The man chuckled and leaned against the window again. "Drop by when you've got a chance, Jihoon keeps on bragging about how's going to beat you. The kid won't keep his mouth shut. He's out tutoring right now, he's probably bragging about it to some six graders."

Yoongi laughed all while pushing his face away again. "Tell the kid I'll come by soon. I've gotta get going Jiho, see you."  Jimin waved goodbye to the man and they began driving away.

"He was a friend from school before I failed." Yoongi spoke up. "He use to help me practice in basketball, we were on the same team. He's a little bit of an asshole but great guy."

"That's nice Hyung but um can you take me home." Jimin put his finger against the small screen. He accidentally pressed down and a voice came in through the speakers. "Sure." Yoongi responded but did nothing about the voice in the car. Jimin then realized they were listening to the radio.

"A woman was founded with a missing limb just last night, her estimated time of death was five in the afternoon in an alley. It appears the woman was stabbed to death and the criminal escaped. Suspiciously though the extraction of the missing arm was not until much later that night..."

Jimin shifted comfortably in his seat as the man went on to describe the condition the woman was left in. He hated listening to the news, it depressed him. News about his town just frightened him. He looked over to Yoongi to try to read his face about the report.

He was licking his lips as the man continued on to talk about the marks left on her arm.

"Hyung..." Jimin whispered. He wasn't sure he had done that but Yoongi quickly turned off the radio. "Sorry 'bout that." he mumbled. Jimin stared at the the small screen that displayed the time and back at Yoongi.

"Why did you lick your lips when they were describing the woman's condition...?" Jimin asked softly. The action was not subtle nor did it appear natural, it was as if he were licking his lips to the description of the woman's condition.

"Just hungry pretty boy, I gave little Lisa my food." He turned to look at him briefly and smiled. Jimin smiled back and tried to shake the feeling of discomfort that had suddenly settled in his stomach. He focused on the hand that had made it's way back to his thigh and he played with it to distract himself of the feeling.
