Strong rays of that which illuminates the earth bared down on the faces of two brothers who in silence enjoyed each other's comforting presences. The youngest keeps his eyes close to embrace the peaceful evening while the eldest watches him from the door.

"I thought you left."

"And I thought it was a bad idea coming home. I guess we were both wrong."

Jimin sat besides his brother in the chair on the porch. He looked out about the view of the homes, the children, and nature. He felt a sense of calmness at side of the person who he resembles most. His spirit rest knowing that he who he cared for most was safe at his side.

"I'm sorry for giving such ugly bruises, I shouldn't have hit you. I got caught in the moment and..." Jimin sighed at the memory of the days before, "I'm sorry Hyunnie."

Jihyun he kept his gaze distant. "Let's not talk about it Hyung. Has Eomma made dinner? I want to eat before I go back."

"You're not staying the night?"

The fifteen year old shook his head. "Not tonight, no. I'll be back Sunday night then I'll stay but I can't come back just yet. Actually I think it'd be best I leave now."

Jihyun rose from the chair he sat on but unexpectedly changed courses, he turned back into the house. Jimin overheard the voices of his mother's desperate cries for the boy to stay yet no screams broke out. Her tone resembled sadness while Jihyun reassured her otherwise. Minutes later the boy walked outside once more, a bag in his hands.

"Jihyun!" Jimin stood up, his brother turned around to look his way. " What bet did Jungkook win?"

The right side of the boy lip's curled upward, he pointed to eyebrow. "Tell him about my punishment and he'll known. Take care Hyung."

Jimin watched his younger brother stroll away from their home. He sat back wondering just what the relationship between the two was.

***

"Still smoking?"

The said substance flowed into the frigid night air just above the teen on the rooftop. Taehyung let out a small chuckle, he patted the spot next to him. Jimin of course followed through with the request.

"I needed it, don't judge me."

"I'm not."

The next half hour was spent with the two staring at the fading blue sky while sharing the drug in the hands of Taehyung's. They talked all sorts of nonsense to distract themselves of the issues of their lives. It was when silence fell for too long that they returned to the world they lived in.

"Tae what was it that you needed to tell me?"

The brunette turned to look at his friend, he took hold of his hand. "Namjoon Hyung needs to speak to you but I needed to say something to you before he does. We run a business Jimin."

Jimin nodded his head slowly, he was unsure why that would Taehyung would believe that would come to be such a surprise to him. The sadness in his eyes were clear in his soft features as he squeezed his hand.

"It's not...a normal one. I just want you to know that no matter what we truly care about you. Family is never left behind nor forgotten so if you decide to leave us I will not forget you Jimin. You are like a brother to me, a person unlike I've ever met before. Just remember that okay?"

The words settled in the thoughts of the younger, it left him confused and concerned. As he engulfed the boy who'd grown to become his best friend in a hug he thought of what he said. The thought of leaving behind those he'd come to care for shattered him so he nodded his head against his friend.

"I won't leave you guys."

The two stayed together for no less than an hour until they were on their way. They were greeted by Jin at the entrance of their hide out. Hoseok sat on the table with green bills stacked on more green bills, he flipped through them with his slender fingers. His eyes glared their way before he turned back to counting the papers on the table. Jimin patted Taehyung's shoulder in condolence before leaving him to join the youngest on the sofa.

"Hey." He greeted the brunette whose attention was on the device on the screen, a small smile played at his face. "Happy today aren't we?"

"Guess you could say that."

"Good, um my brother wanted me to tell you something."

At the mention of the other male Jungkook perked up. His  head turned to look around the room before turning back to Jimin, he leaned in close. In a whisper he asked what that something was. The seventeen year old furrowed his eyebrows in confusion as to why the boy looked so jumpy towards the subject.

"He says you won." Jimin pointed to his own eyebrow just like Jihyun had done earlier. Jungkook's lip curled upward proudly.

"Does it look good?"

Jimin didn't answer him. "How do you know him?"

Jungkook leaned back, he gulped visible. He opened his mouth to speak but he was cut of by the sound of a door slamming shut. Yoongi strolled out with a piece of paper in his hand, he pinned them it the board. Jimin looked back to Jungkook, waiting to hear his answer. The boy however did not answer verbally, he put his finger against his lips then left.

"Looks like the kid doesn't dislike you as much wouldn't you agree?"

Jimin grinned at the raven haired male that placed a kiss into his hair. He agreed before returning the action.

"I think so-"

"ANSWER ME!"

Taehyung's scream alerted everyone in the room. His chest heaved while tears stained his red face. Hoseok stared at him while the younger gritted his teeth awaiting an answer from him. The elder was blank, he was not reacting to the scene that was made.

"TELL ME HOSEOK!"

Jimin was pulled away from the unfolding scene, before he knew it he was in Namjoon's office. The man ignored the screams emitting from the other side of the door as he sipped at light brown beverage in a glass cup all the while reading a paper he held in the hair.

"Ignore their fighting, sit Jiminie. I need to talk to you."

The boy did as asked. Nerves settled in his stomach as they would always when he was in the office. The dark setting brought him feeling he did not enjoy yet he put up with it. Namjoon set down the paper but kept the drink in one hand.

"As you know we are...an odd group. Yoongi told me you saw the liver in the container the other day and it made me realize something. We've sheltered you for so long, I have and they've complied with my wishes. I think it's time you learn the type of business we run if you choose, it's not necessary. I think it's time we let you know all Jiminie, you've become family. Do you wish to know?"

Jimin looked down to the surface of the wooden desk, he thought back to the words of Taehyung. He was curious to know exactly what the big secret was yet frightened to think it would cause him to consider leaving his friends. He took into consideration the words of his friend, no matter what he couldn't leave. He felt that no matter what left the man's mouth, he wouldn't be able to pull away from them. There was a connection between them all, he could not abandon those who had been there for him, he could not abandon his family.
