Avery woke up the next day with a groan and a searing pain in her muscles. She opened her eyes at the sound of running water. She looked around the room. Green, purple and gold sent her into a frenzy.
This was not her bedroom!
At that thought, she sprung off the comfy pillow and looked towards the bathroom.
There she saw a man with pale, lightly coloured skin, strawberry blonde curls and a good amount of scars on his back.
She watched the man in wonder, his movements were so precise.
Almost like the man felt her eyes on him, he snapped his head to look at her

"Ah, so your awake, good, I was beginning to get worried," he said washing his face and walking out to stand in front of her in just a pair of jeans

She didn't know this man, but she felt close to him, like she could trust him.
She looked him over but something caught her.

They were the same shade of green, blue and grey. Filled with serenity.
Then the scar that decorated the left side of his face had her gasping
"Joker?" She asked tilting her head slightly
He smiled at her and nodded before slowly sitting next to her
"Yeah I'm the Joker, but my real name is Jonathan, Jonathan Good," he said
"Nice to officially meet you beautiful," he smirked reaching out a hand.
She smiled and grasped it
She looked at the Joker, literally seeing the man behind the mask.
"Your beautiful," she told him
His laugh he gave her, echoed in his chest.
"That's why I like you so much." He said she smiled at him, before feeling her skin blaze and she went into a coughing fit.
