Avery ran around J Mansion, that she had recently shared with Jon after she moved in.
She was packing clothes while Jon watched
She threw her gear in the duffle bag as well as her toiletries
She had just ransacked the dressing room side table when she paused and looked at the framed picture

She had gotten her daddy's dimples and everything else.
She sighed and clutched the picture to her chest
Jon thought she looked so helpless, it was scary.
She put back the picture and got up, zipping up the bag.
She looked at the car then at Jon and as she went to turn away, his hand shot out and grabbed her wrist
"I can't let you go." He said
"I didn't ask your permission," she said coldly
Everybody could tell since her dad was in critical condition, she's been on edge.
"Aves, I can't let you go," he pleaded
She turned to him
"I-I need you, please, please don't go," he pleaded close to crying
Her expression softened
Joker hardly showed emotions so when he did, it was no question that he was being serious
She looked at him
"Jon, I love you. But I hafta go." She insisted
"Please don't." He said falling to his knees grabbing onto her hands tightly
She gasped
"Jon? Baby. This is not something I have a choice in." She replied turning away as Jon stood up and she sighed when the grip returned around her wrist
"It's my job to protect you." He insisted
She yanked her hand from his grip
"And it's my job to protect my kingdom," she replied making a total of 2 steps before he grabbed her wrists again
"Then I'm coming with you." He demanded
She looked over her shoulder and smirked
"Then let's go." She said smiling and handing him the bag she had packed for him and his purple leather jacket
Joker cackled maniacally and smiled like Jon to her
She smiled back and they joined hands walking to the notorious purple and green jet
