Thalia's P.O.V.

Everything was a blur as I tried to move, it feels like I was traped as I can't move my body, I feel so numb. But admist all these, I was able to feel at ease and comfortable, a hand was clasped around mine and it felt so awfully familiar. Jasper.

"Thalia? Can you hear me?" I forced myself to open my eyes and was only welcomed by a bright light, but once everything got clear, I was able to get calm. Jasper's worried face was the first thing I saw and I gently squeezed his hand to tell him that I'm fine.

"My back hurts" I slowly started to find my voice despite of my dry throat and it brought happiness to him, he sighed in relief and smiled warmly at me. He looked so stressed and have not yet slept, he has eye bags under his eyes but he disregarded everything.

"Im so glad you're safe" Said he as he caressed my face and planted a sweet and gentle kiss on my forehead, it took me a few more minutes before I could finally move and sit up straight, the painkillers must've worn out but I'm glad that the wound doesn't really hurt much.

Jasper slowly helped me as I sat up on the bed, my back hurts a bit but I can still endure it. Jasper went to the nightstand just beside me as I followed him with my eyes, I saw Flint oppa lying down on the couch a few meters away from the bed. Jasper gave me a glass of water which made me feel so relieved.

"Where's the others? And why is my brother sleeping on the couch wearing a business suit?" I asked as I began to get worried, his tall frame doesn't really fit the small couch, once he wakes up all his joints will hurt. Even if I know that they're all worried for me they should still have a rest and focus on their health, I don't want to see them sick.

"He came here right after a meeting with a client, he said he doesn't care if he's not getting enough sleep as long as you're safe, he'll be fine" Jasper assured me but I'm still not convinced, once I'll really recover from this operation then I will scold them.

"Our parents are at the police station, they're trying to know where the best place my uncle can stay. Mom said he should just be in an assylum but the police are also considering to place him behind bars as an attempted murderer and a kidnapper"

"He should be placed at the assylum to help him recover from his physcological problem, he deserves to also be treated fair and nice even if he has such sickness as that" I added, even if he is the reason why I was separated from my real family, I still believe that he's still a good person as he treated me like a real family member, he took care of me and fed me.

"Why aren't you calling the doctors now that I'm awake?" Jasper smiled and sat beside me on my bed, he faced me and gently tucked my hair behind my ear. Anyone would immediately call the nurse to check on the patient if they're awake, it's an impulse reaction but Jasper on the other hand is just calm, what's wrong with him?

"She told me that you are already safe from danger so I didn't even bother to call her when I saw you already waking up, the bullet didn't hit any organ or serious nerves but there were some nerves that were a bit affected so you will feel pain for a short period of time."

"Are you hungry? Do you want to eat something?" He asked almost immediately once I understood what he had just explained, I didn't bother to ask him how many days I've been unconscious since it'll just make me feel bad for making all of them worried.

"I think I just want to walk around and breath the fresh air, though I doubt that I can walk properly in my condition" I badly really want to go out from this ward because in my condition, even if I'm improving or not, I will still be monitored by my doctor and after a few days I'll be finally discharged.

"Want me to make your dreams come true?"

Jasper and I spent the whole day almost walking around the park at the hospital, well actually it was only Jasper who was walking as he pushed the wheelchair where I was sitting on. I think it was 4 at noon when I woke up and it's already 7 now, the bright stars are slowly starting to reveal themselves.

"Did you tell them that I'm already awake?" I asked when I noticed that our parents aren't still here, Jasper smiled and nods his head. Someone called him earlier and I think it's our parents.

"My uncle will be imprisoned but he will also be going to be visited by a physchiatrist every week, our parents will come rushing back" A good news came after another, I got to live again and Jasper's uncle was given another chance.

"Are you sure you just want to stay here instead of sleeping at your ward?"

"Why would I be a coward again when I know that I have you? I have my family and I know who I really am, I won't be a coward and hide when I know that you believe in me" I'm really happy to receive all these results, I will live happily as I was given a second chance to live.

"You sound like a poet composing a poem, may I ask who's the man behind all those thoughts you have?" I slowly caressed Jasper's cheek as we sat side by side, him on the bench at the garden like park here at the hospital, he held my free hand and placed a kiss on the back of my hand.

"Promise me not to leave me, and I will do the same for you"
