Thalia's P.O.V.

"Adam was a very very envious man, he wanted to have power to control everyone and to have everything he likes. He may be my brother that I thought I knew well but I was wrong, there was a monster inside him that wants to unveil his power at the right time"

Mom uttered, my parents, Jasper's parents, Flint oppa and his fiancee , Nathalia unnie are all gathered here in my ward. According to my doctor I'm already on the road to recovery but since I still have an open wound, I should still be careful and should alert anyone when I could feel pain. Jasper never left my side no matter how much I wanted him to go home and sleep first, I can't do anything whenever he refuses.

Jasper's mom came here to tell me the whole story about Adam, my foster father who made our life chaotic, we were listening intentively especially Jasper who wants to know the past we're all unknown off.

"It all started when Jasper was born, apparently Thalia's parent and I are very close friend of each other. Thalia was still not born that time, I invited Mr. and Mrs. Hong to the party we prepared for Jasper as a new addition to our family. Adam got obsessed with your mother and that started his first evil plan, Jasper was probably already 1 when Adam tried to hurt him by either choking him or threatening him by a fork. I got surprised sometimes when we're leaving Jasper in his care, because Jasper will cry really loud not knowing that he was actually fearing his own uncle"

"Then when the news that Mrs. Hong is pregant with Thalia surfaces, he began to change his target from Jasper to Thalia. He sneaked out of the house and inside the hospital to kidnap Thalia  when she was already born without anyone noticing it, he then began to vanish starting that night which gives the police a lead that he indeed was the suspect who kidnapped you" Jasper's father added.

"It sounded like a creepy horror movie story just being summarized, I was being discharged and yet we're all talking about the story why I grew up with Jasper's uncle" I chuckled, actually I am really going to be discharged today and since it's still pretty hot outside we decided to stay here for a few more minutes, then Mrs. Lee suddenly started to tell the past.

"Sometimes you really have to face your fears, just like what you did to Jasper. You saved him by sacrificing your own life, you were strong and fearless Thalia, because of love" Mom spoke, everyone laughed when I blushed beet red but Jasper just held my hand and gave me an assuring kiss.

But what mom said is really true, I sacrificed my life in exchange of Jasper because that's how much I care about him, that's how much I love him. Jasper is my world and he, also said that I his world. We're both each other's weaknesses and strength, together, we are willing to sacrifice our own lives just to protect each other.

"How did the both of you meet by the way?" Nathalia unnie asked, she is wearing the ring my brother gave her when he propsed to her. They were sitting on the couch side by side together with mom and Jasper's mom, both our dad's stood up to give their seat at their wives.

"Well, I must say that it was love at first sight. I saw the most beautiful girl in the world and then instantly I knew that she'll be the perfect one for me" I blushed just when Jasper said these words, he's sometimes romantic but other times he's more cringey which I sometimes hate so I pulled my hand away from him and crossed my arms.

"Earlier we were talking about a horror story now it's time for love story? Can't we just eat outside because I'm really hungry now" I whinned, can't they just stop talking so we can already go out and eat? I hate the tasteless food served here in the hospital, I would want to eat all the foods I want and I dread coming back here.

"Well sorry to keep you waiting princess, I had an errand to attend to" Answered by my brother, he was trying to make fun of me but I don't mind, I'm pretty moody these days so I think I can vent out some of my anger to him.

"Next time come here early, I'm so hungry to even open my mouth and talk"

"But you can pefrectly talk" And he's still playful as ever, I remembered he was very distant towards me as he doesn't know how to approach me when we first met each other, but then now he's treating me as if I've spent my whole childhood growing up with him.

"Should I disown you as my brother or you'll just follow what I want?" I teased, Nathalia unnie suddenly laughed because a priceless reaction appeared on Flint oppa's face.

"Woah, be careful Jasper you might get controlled by her" Flint oppa uttered in a danger like way but he was just answered by my boyfriend with a sweet sentence.

"Well that's my girl and I love her whatever her personality is"
