26: Lunch date.

I have been in my closet for almost ten minutes. I still couldn't decide on what to wear. For the first time in years, I actually care about what I wear or how I look. I normally grab anything my eyes sighted first because I just don't give a damn.

Did you faint in there? *Aslam uttered as he walked into the closet.

Of course not. *I said my eyes still on the gazillions of clothes in front of me.

What are you doing in here for almost 15mins then?

I can't find anything to wear.

Geez, I am getting suspicious bro. Are you going somewhere?

Yeah I am going out for lunch with........ Oh never mind. I am just going out.

With who?

Fatima *I uttered in a whisper.

We were both silent for a while. I was still scrutinizing the closet when Aslam spoke breaking the minutes of silence.

Are you falling for her?

His words stroke me like a loud thunder. I couldn't believe Aslam would ever say something as stupid as that. How can I ever fall for another person but Anisa? I was void of words, so I just stood there scowling at him.

Chill dude. I was just kidding. *He sneered.

I shifted my gaze back to my clothes. I knew he was serious. I know him quite well to understand when he is kidding and when he is serious.

I will head out bro. Take your time. *He uttered walking out of the closet.

I leaned my back on the wall, closing my eyes, I thought of Aslam's question. It was something I don't really understand too. I also ask myself the same question sometimes. But I always conclude that what I feel for her is not love and it will never be.

I was ready by 1:30pm. I ended up wearing a white tee with denim pants and a jacket. I brushed my curly dark hair neatly and sprayed my Clive Christian perfume.
