Jane's point of view

"Just curious, how did you end up unconscious on the streets when I first found you? " I asked. His face lit up. This must be a juicy one.  

"To cut the long story short, I hooked up with one red-headed girl in a bar, I had no clue she came with her boyfriend who was heavily built. The guy approached us and literarily knocked me out." I laughed out. He pouted. I gulped when I looked at those lips.

"Let's change the topic." I finally announced, to cover up the awkward moment.

"Great, hmmmmm..... What's your favorite color." He asks. I tried so hard to contain my laughter but I could not.

"What?." He finally snaps. I continued with my laughter. Good thing one body is here, they would think I'm crazy.

"I did not picture you as a guy who asks that type if question," I smirked.

"Hey! I am trying to make a conversation, not my fault you are a bore." He defended.

"I'm a pretty interesting girl." I defended as well.

"Tell me about this pretty interesting girl." He folds his arms as he asks.

"What's your story, miss Jane Parker." He smirks.

"My dad left when I was 8, that's pretty much it, I am an open book." I lied. True my dad did leave but I did not mention some parts about my life, I feel so guilty.

"No offense but your dad is a fool for leaving such an amazing girl like you." He smiles. Here comes the guilt again.

"So what's your favorite color?." I tried to change the topic before I get all emotional.

"I thought that's what as a lame question." He asked amused.

"Well, it is not lame when I ask it," I smirked. He picks up his drink before he answered.

"Black." He smirks. No wonder he wears black literally all the time. I realized I have not started eating so I began to dig in.

"I should have known considering the fact you were black all the time." I continued to eat.

"Sweetheart, I'm wearing red now." He smirks ad he points at his shoes. I stopped eating as I bit my lips trying to hide my embarrassment.

"Babe you are not that observant." He pouted. Gosh those lips, damn.

"Like what you see?." He winks at me. I bent my head in embarrassment

"Jerk!" I muttered as he burst into laughter. This is going to be one long date.
