Walloo the Wicked: Moana
Deleted Disney Character
When Moana and Maui have to get past an eight-eyed bat called Walloo the Wicked on their way to reach Tamatoa.
The two use a pair of conch shells to distract and confuse the creature while they get past.
The eight-eyed bat creature in Moana originates from Polynesian legends of Maui killing a giant eight-eyed bat that tried to steal Maui's wife Kumu-lama.
Since when did Maui have a wife??? I want to see that!
Bonus: The bat makes a cameo in the movie! He appears in the beginning on a tapestry.
During the song You're Welcome at the part we're Maui sang "I killed an eel, Iburied its guts, Sprouted a tree, now you got coconutsen he's on the break-away. What's the lesson, What is the take-away, Don't mess with Maui when he's on the break-away."
Walloo appears.
