Haunted Mansion Animated Series

Lost Disney Channel Show

Welcome, foolish mortals, to the Haunted Mansion. We have nine hundred and ninety-nine happy haunts here, but there's room for a thousand. Any volunteers?

So, the Haunted Mansion, let's talk about that.

Shannon Tindle (He worked on The Fairly OddParents, Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, he came up with the idea of Kubo and the Two Strings and Ick, even worked on The Emoji Movie) revealed his scrapped concept for an animated series based on The Haunted Mansion:

But, just like Gigantic, Disney rejected the idea. Well, Gigantic wasn't rejected, it was shelved because of failed creative ideas.

The Haunted Mansion is one of my favorite rides to go on and it is one of the most original, iconic and most popular attractions at the Disney Parks.

And by original I mean by two things:

1.) This was one of the very last attractions Walt Disney, himself, oversaw before his passing.

The six-year delay owed heavily to Disney's involvement in the New York World's Fair in 1964–1965 and to an attraction redesign after Walt's death in 1966.

2.) And by another original I mean original. Because, when we visit the parks, most attractions are based off of movies while It's a Small World, Pirates of the Caribbean (before the Movies) and the Haunted Mansion stayed the same when the parks first opened. Think about that for one moment.

There are other stuff I would love to talk the animated series about but

Here, I let this guy to explain as he explains everything, wonderfully.

And now you know.

Maybe Disney wanted to preserve this attraction since fans complain about the 2003 movie. (Which I don't get because it's one of my favorite movies. Heck, as I'm writing this, I'm watching the movie at the same time.)

I would love to have Disney Channel to make a Haunted Mansion series. The show can be just like Steven Universe and Star vs the Forces of Evil. What do these shoes have in common? The shows does a balance of light, humor with a touch of darkness and sadness. We hardly have shows anymore that do those kinds of things now!

I mean, off topic a little bit, in the show "That's so Raven," Disney literally made an episode about this person who was racist!

And let's not talk about that one episode in Good Luck Charlie, with the two moms. (And what the fans did afterwards)

So, you can see why Disney doesn't want to go that far even though little bits and pieces have been thrown around like Andy Mac and Star vs the Forces of Evil.

This is the reason why "Don't Look Under the Bed" is my all time favorite Disney Channel Movie Because Of how realistic it is and how Disney took a risk.

But taking that risk may ruin that particular show or movie.

Hopefully, in the future, we will see The Haunted Mansion in a remake and most of all, a tv show.

Question: What are your thoughts on this animated tv series?
