According to creator Joe Pitt designer on Gravity Falls and Mickey Mosue Shorts it was going to be a 2D-Live Action Mini-Series based on tiny popcorn turners at Disneyland from different rides. Unfortunately, the creator wasn't able to do a show taking place in the park itself. Character art by @sean_charmatz

"Rejected show idea #1065. I always thought the tiny popcorn turners at Disneyland were real as a kid. This mini-series was going to be about the smallest underdogs of the park. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to make a show taking place in the park itself so it got shelved along with the others. Still have the stories laid out in my head. Maybe someday I'll make fan comics about them."
Hopefully Disney will shine a little on this again.
