I still cannot get over this movie. Best movie of 2017, 10 out of a 5. 

MY FLIPPING GOSH! 

This movie destroyed me, a roller coaster of emotions.

This movie wasn't just visually stunning with great animation when everyone plays the guitar, their fingers are moving independently and are actually playing the notes as they would be played. And not that lazy animation, for example, when a character is writing, the words appear first before the character writes them.  This not only difficult to animate but shows how incredible attention to detail this movie has.

I also liked how the animators created a new software for animater tailors to put clothes on the skeletons.

I mean it's cool and freaky, because one character wore a tight pink dress that showed all of her covers but it didn't fit her skeleton.

You can see her hip bones and everything but that's unique.

Enough about the animation, which was soooooooooooooo awesome! 

I can't believe that that they still actual showed DEATH in the movie and NOT OFF SCREEN. Crushed my a bell, murder...

Facts:

This is the second Disney film of 2017 to feature a protagonist named Hector whose relationship with his daughter plays a key role in the film's story. The first was Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales (2017).

When Miguel is walking down the streets at the beginning of the movie, you can spot piñatas of some Pixar characters: Buzz Lightyear, Woody and Mike Wazowski among others. (Saw that!)

(Spoilers) Ernesto de la Cruz is similar to Charles Muntz from Up (2009). Both of these characters had been idolised by the film's protagonist, both had been accused of being a Fraud (Fabricating a Skeleton of a Paradise Falls Bird in Muntz' case, and stealing Hector's songs in Ernesto's case), and both had revealed to be the film's Main Antagonist through a Plot Twist during the climax.

And did anyone else get a "Batman and Robin" movie vibe when Miguel enters the party? Like the party where Posion Ivy crashes?

Also love all the famous Mexican celebrities like Frida Kahlo.

Anyway, today's forgotten character is from the COCO short, Dante's Lunch. 

Through out the short, Dante is chasing this bone that belongs this man and we don't see him in the movie. 

Even though he clothes are similar to Hector's.

Now, I could have chosen any character in the movie as the movie showed lots and lots of potential forgotten characters, like the actual forgotten skeletons. 

We meet three forgotten lady skeletons that Hector talks to and gives a drink to, even though they looked like they had a few too many.

Haha

Drunk skeletons.

But this character from the short, never showed up in the movie so that is why he is today's forgotten character.

Yes, I love this movie. Must see and must see again.

What was the only thing that sucked?

The Frozen Short.
