Ellen's Energy Adventure: EPCOT

Lost Walt Disney World Attractions

Who wants to go on a super boring ride that only reason you went on it is because you want to sleep? Then this is totally the ride for you.

I mean, the only reason people went on this 45 minute ride was for A. Air conditioning or B. Sleep or C. All of the above.

The Universe of Energy pavilion was part of the Future World section of Epcot. From 1982 to 1996, it housed the Universe of Energy attraction. In 1996, the attraction was changed to Ellen's Energy Adventure. The name of the pavilion, however, remained unchanged.

Ellen's Energy Adventure was the second show to be featured in the Universe of Energy pavilion, replacing the original 1982 version of it. It was hosted by Ellen DeGeneres and Bill Nye.

Sorry, couldn't help myself. No, I'm not sorry at all! Muhahahaha!

It featured a combination of four separate large-format film presentations and a slow-moving Dark Ride. The pavilion was previously sponsored by ExxonMobil (formerly Exxon) from opening day on October 1, 1982 through 2004. It closed on August 13, 2017 for a Guardians of the Galaxy attraction.

Upon its late day: August 13, 2017, The Universe of Energy pavilion had ts last day of operation. During the final show, the attraction broke down forcing guests to evacuate mid-show. However, cast members make up for this by allowing guests to linger in the primeval diorama during the ride evacuation and take photos with the dinosaurs.

I would go into detail about the ride but there is literally to much and I don't believe you have enough patients to read all about it.

Also, why Disney? Why are you milking Guardians of the Galaxy like Frozen?
