Opened in: 1988 Closed in: 1990 Replaced by: Mickey's Toontown. When Mickey Mouse turned 60 in 1988, Disney decided to install a temporary land at the Magic Kingdom. A recreation of the town of Duckburg, its primary attraction was a birthday-themed meet-and-greet with Mickey and Minnie. It proved to be so popular that it was replaced by Mickey's Toontown.
Which is now replaced by the New Fantasy Land.
