*looks outside to a land of fairytales. A small man comes up to Rewrite.*
Small Man: Give me your ring and I'll spin gold for you.
Rose: I'm not giving you my class ring and Mickey ring!
Small man: Then give me your necklace.
Rose: Why are you asking me these questions?
Small Man: Fine, when the time comes you must give me your firstborn- *Rewrite kicks the imp-like creature like he was a foot ball.*
Rose: Creep! -_-
Sparky: *looks* And it's good! Touchdown!
Rose: Anyway speaking of Rumpelstiltskin...
Today's lost film begins where the famous Brothers Grimm fairy tale Rumplestiltskin leaves off.
Remember when I talked about Teacher's Pet way back when in my book: The World of Forgotten Disney? The husband and wife team behind the film, Bill and Cheri Steinkellner, sold Uncle Stiltskin to Disney back in 2003. In it, aspiring babynapper Rumpelstiltskin tries to get a child by spinning straw into gold. It doesn't work, so to fulfill his dream of being a father as he discovers the true meaning of family and he ends up getting a feral orphan girl who was raised by wolves instead.
Like what even?
It was in the works around the same time as The Princess and the Frog and Tangled, so what happened to it is anyone's guess.
I'm sorry but every time I think of Rumpelstiltskin is this guy:
