But I promise that in the day of battle I will be there to do my part "she said firmly and they all nodded and left. Charles and Joan just sat there in silence giving each other time to process everything.

"Am scared "she said her voice a low whisper but loud enough for him to hear

" why? " Charles didn't expect but he was happy she was opening up too him.

" I might not be able to figure it out, I might not be able to put everything together, I might fail " she confessed her cold expression breaking a little but in her case it was considered a big deal

" will figure it out " Charles said he'd never heard Joan that desperate before, she sounded so weak and vulnerable, broken even, he was convinced she was hiding something, but even he knew it was hopeless trying to get information from Joan she was not willing to give so he decided it was best to keep quiet.

" king Friedel's sword " she said nonchalantly all signs of weakness had disappeared causing Charles to wonder if he had not imagined it all.

" Charles we need a lot of Knights for the war and I wanted to take care of it myself and I also have a place ready for my training I would just use the portals for transportation, I have everything figured out "she answered

" OK I also wanted to see the girl "Joan said with her bored expression and for anybody they would think she was in fact being honest both Charles knew Joan.

Joan sighed, during there conversation she had moved to the window and was now staring out of it" four years has been too long, without seeing your face, and hearing your voice, dear Charles "she said slowly pausing in between as if it took everything she had to say those words, her voice soft and so sweet as if tempting him, closing her eyes she stirred the wind around her send her hair flying and ruffling her clothes " is this how it would look like? "she asked" the wind in my hair as I sail the seas "she said and Charles nodded

" all that is missing is a smile on that perfectly sculptured face of yours "he said but secretly he knew it was exactly what he envisioned, Joan would never smile under those conditions, all that was missing now was a ship and the sea of course .

A small smile pulled up on her face she would never forget that day, seeing Charles so embarrassed and hearing him mutter those words had made her feel something within, she just didn't know what it was back then.

OK so I made my own character (Joan) and am incorporating her into the story anyway I can, also please tell me what you think of Joan so far
