Chapter 3

Lauren's P.O.V.

I sat on my bed, alone in my room, waiting for 3pm, the meeting. I was really excited about this meeting because it was discussing the world tour. I was really distracted that day, though, so I couldn't really focus on one thing for more than ten minutes. Suddenly I heard a voice.

"Lisa, Kath, Dani, Amy, Lauren!" Christina yelled "It's time for our meeting! Hurry up!"

I saw Dani and Kath rushing to the office (our "official meeting place"), but I just walked slowly, wandering around, getting amazed by everything I saw, still distracted. I got in and all my sisters were already sitting and waiting for me.

"You're late" Christina scolded me.

"Sorry, won't happen again" I apologized.

"Thank you, so, topic to discuss: WORLD TOUR, say what?!" Christina yelled as everyone started cheering. "Well, as you know we're starting off in Canada and..."'Christina started, but I had already got distracted by some butterflies outside the window and I payed no attention at all.

"...And then we go to Australia and last but not least New Zealand." She finished and turned to me? "Lauren? Lauren?!"

"What, what?" I asked softly but in surprise after being brought back to reality from my thoughts.

"Did you hear anything I said?"

"Um, yes, our last stop is New Zealand."

"Exactly, AND as it's our last place, mom said we would be staying a month as a family vacation!"

"What?" I asked interrupting everyone's thoughts and cheers "I mean, I have friends here, things to do."

"Lauren, it's just a vacation like any other" Christina answered smoothly.

"Yeah but this is not NorCal, this is the other side of the world."

"Laur, please, come on it's our last stop and mom wanted to go there with us as a new experience" Kath answered this time. "Do it for her."

"Okay, whatever" I finally answer.

"Nice, so let's keep on moving, so we have to plan our set list and start choosing outfits, so, Paul (Dress Designer), Cooper (Tour Director and Planner) and Sarah (Manager) are coming in about thirty minutes to cover these things, ok?"

We all nod in answer.

"Okay, meeting is over."

With just this sentence all of us left and minded our own business, just like before the meeting. I had started to go back to my room when Christina stopped me.

"Hey Laur, so I noticed you were a bit distracted."

"Yeah, I've been finding it hard to keep my mind set on one thing."

"Well try to get your thoughts together and for the next meeting remember to focus on what's important."

"Ok, I'll try, thanks Chris."

"No problem sis" She said and left.

Back in my room, I wanted to save time, so I started choosing my favorite outfits. I knew Paul would give me new ones for the tour, but I knew he'd let her take some of my own.

Time flew and before I could even notice, it was meeting time again.
