The machine

Frisk walked into the lab with the bag and dumped it on alphys desk. "You found it? Not decayed at all?!" She asked shocked. Frisk nodded swiftly. Alphys looked at the body in confusion and dread. They were about to revive a human!!! "Frisk there's someone waiting for you ,you go see them while I go put the body in the electric machine ok?" Alphys wrapped the body in a blanket covering the humans face as she placed the body in the machine.

Frisk walked into the room and saw a very angry flowey sat there glaring."gee thanks for leaving me! That doctor says your trying to revive your imaginary friend!" Frisk nodded. Yes they helped me through the journey in the underground from the moment I fell they deserve this! Flowey laughed.…
"So they helped you dodge shit? No wonder you knew how to dodge!" He laughed. "Well then come on let's go revive a ghost hahaahahaha!" He sarcastically spoke as frisk grabbed him and sat him in the room.

"Ok Frisk this may hurt" Alphys said as she got a knife and began to cut frisks soul in half. "AHHH!" Frisk let out a scream of Agony before receiving a shot of determination to ease the pain and restore their hp. The determination created the second part of their soul they were missing. Alphys carried the other soul half in a container being careful not to absorb it to the desk and grabbed the syringe with DNA in it before sticking it into the soul half. The soul turned a deep red and began to crack slightly. "Don't worry,that s-should happen if the DNA has been dead for a long time!" She calmed frisk down.

"I can't beleive you think the imaginary friend is real like are you really doing this?!" Flowey scoffed. Shush! Frisk signed and flowey shut up for once. Alphys opened the machine and inserted the soul half before injecting the lifeless body with determination. "Ok once i activate the machine your ghost friend has to wait until I say 'yes' before entering or their spirit will be lost and you will die officially" Chara gulped before nodding. Ok they said yes. Alphys nodded before pulling he lever and hitting a few buttons to re-create an electronic current to revive the heart.

"Ok wait for it... almost here...just a few more voltage levels!" Frisk crossed their fingers as they waited patiently.

"Oh my fucking god this is actually happening!" Flowey hissed as he watched the machine turn into a bright light. "Get ready!!!" Alphys yelled over the sound.

"Frisk, I want to thank you, you shown me how to feel emotion and thanks for being my friend, thank you if I don't return, just know I'm grateful!" Chara yelled before alphys screamed.

"NOW!!!" She yelled as the ghost flew into the machine. Frisk opened their eyes as they watched the machine toss and turn before it was engulfed by a bright light....

"ITS GONNA BLOW AHH!"flowey yelled as he ducked into his flowey pot.

BOOM!

The smoke vanished as the 3 looked to where the machine used to be. It was broken with white smoke pouring out of the door. Frisk walked into the machine moving the broken door out of the way. The quicky turned and grabbed flowey as they looked in the machine what was covered in red sparkling liquid of determination. The smoke completely vanished and there was nothing to be seen. Alphys walked into the machine and gasped. "Frisk I'm so sorry...." they put a hand on the humans shoulder as they noticed a lifeless body in the corner of the machine. Frisk turned around as they left the knife in the machine in respect of their friend before slowly they left the machine. Alphys followed behind them. Frisk felt tears in their eyes. "Who was it?" Flowey asked as he didn't see the other humans face due to being covered in a blanket. ... no body. Frisk replied in a slow sign action before they reached the exit of the room.

Then suddenly Frisk paused as they head a cough coming from the machine.Alphys looked at Frisk who tilted their head and turned to the noise.

Gusts of smoke left the machine as floweys mouth dropped. "Oh my god..." he mumbled as they saw a silhouette of a child through the smoke.

Frisks eyes opened to Reveal their blue eyes as what they witnessed shocked them the most. The smoke vanished leaving a human child about 11 years old, wearing a light green and yellow stripes sweater leaning on the broken door for support.

Chara...

"Owww my head hurts..."  Chara groaned rubbing their head and maroon hair out of their face. Floweys eyes widened.

"OH MY GOSH IT WORKED!"Alphys screamed gripping her face as her jaw dropped. "Eh? " Chara looked confused as they put their knife in their pocket.

"Chara..." Flowey gasped. Chara looked at the flower and griped their fists before stomping over and snatching the flower out of frisks hands. Frisk had shut their eyes by now an was smiling so much to see their friend alive!

"YOU!! I HAVE A RIGHT MIND TO KILL YOU! You attacked Frisk 3 TIMES!!" Chara yelled at flowey. "You saw that?" He stuttered."YES!" Chara yelled.

"Who are you?!" Chara shook the flower. "E-excuse me! Who are you?" Alphys asked.
"The names chara!" Chara smiled. Alphys' eyes widened. "As in...the first human child?!" They yelled covering their mouth.

"Yup, one and only! I died and somehow was stuck with Frisk...so thanks for giving me my life back" chara smiled putting the flower down. Chara walked over to frisk and gave them a hug. Frisk took of their locket chara gave to them and handed it back to them.

I believe this is yours.... frisk signed as they held the heart shaped golden locket to them. "Thanks, Frisk." Chara put the locket back on and opened the picture up and smiled warmly before closing it again.

"Your telling me all this time you were talking TO THEM THIS WHOLE TIME?!" Flowey yelled In Anger. Frisk nodded. "Who are you really flowey? Hm? I was blind when you stole the souls and frisk refuses to tell me so...you tell me!" Chara hissed walking towards the flower.

"They didn't tell you huh? Well then, I'm Flowey always will be...that's final"  he said as confidently as he could as he felt tears run down his face.

Suddenly the door opened as Sans walked into the lab. "Frisk! Where have you been I've been so worried! I have y-" Sans stopped talking when he saw Chara.
He stumbled back. "Sans..." chara mumbled.

Sans stood silent as Papyrus walked In Behind him, alphys hid behind the desk trying not to cause attention to herself. Papyrus froze mid sentence. "SANS! What is taking so... long" he stopped.

"Um hey guys?" Chara waved awkwardly as frisk stood beside them holding flowey who hid in his pot.

"Chara?" They said in harmony.

This will take a long time to explain....
