(Vanoss POV)
I was looking through his old things, feeling on one hand much more like an invader, but at the same time I had a feeling I was getting closer to him.

I put back the box filled with some clothes, when my hand accidentally hit another box which immediately fell down. I wanted to catch that, but it already shattered on the ground.

Couple photos, mostly with the same women I recognized as his mum, some of his sister or Luke. Memories of his happy life frozen in time in the photos.

I heard a door open, making me gasp for air in surprise. I saw too familiar figure standing in the doorway, making my body shiver. He had a gun in his hand, pointing it right at me. My heart stoped beating when I saw those eyes.

"Hello, cupcake."

My first instinct was to run away, far away from him as possible, but he was standing in the only way out. The window was also my option, but I knew he would have reached me first.

"I wasted my opportunity to kill you the last time, remember? But look, life got us together again. Life wants you dead."

I wanted my sweet Jonathan back, and I knew exactly how. My eyes focused on the Teddy Bear, sitting casually on the bed. I looked at Delirious, calculating my chances.

"There's nothing you can say? Really?" He mocked me.

That was the time I ran for my chance. After few steps, everything went to shit. My leg was caught, which caused me fall face first. I wanted to continue, but I was quickly pinned to the ground.

A crazy laughter filled the room, making my heart race. I was terrified, not wanting to repeat the nightmare I was going through the last time.

"Get of off me!" I yelled desperately, trying to fight back.

But in a blink of an eye, my hands were tied behind my back. He clearly had more strength. I tried to find out, when did Delirious got back and mainly why.

The last time Jonathan said he has everything under control, right? Why then?

He picked me up, throwing me into the corner of the room, where he skillfully tied to me the radiator.

"Jonathan, Jo-Jon... it's me, please come back," I yelled, when I remembered the last time.

"Fuck off," he spat, standing up.

"I'm your Teddy bear! I'm you-"

I was cut off by the gun shot few inches from my head. My heart was pounding in my chest so fast, I was fucked.

"Shut the fuck up, you worthless piece of shit! I have to kill Bryce, but after that I'm gonna enjoy your sweet untouched body once again. And this time, you're not gonna be saved."

His voice was deep, husky, terrifying. His dark blue eyes reminded me, what everything this persona can do. And I certainly didn't want to risk it.

He hunkered down to my level, drifting with his gun upon my skin, making me shiver from coldness and from fears.

"Evan?"

We both heard Bryce's voice from downstairs. I took a deep breath to yell, but Delirious smashed his hand on my mouth. Biting it quickly, he hissed in pain, smashing my head against the wall.

"Don't say a fucking word," he whispered.

But his voice sounded so distance, I had to blink several times to stay conscious. My head was blasting with an unbelievable pain, I felt blood in my mouth.

"Evan!"

The voice was closer and I knew I had to warn him. I had to do something. But that was the problem. Even if I warn him, for the price of my life, there wasn't any certainty about Bryce's life. I knew Jonathan would acted smarter than this.

Delirious stood up, leaning against the wall right next to the door. He clutched a ropes in his hands, staring at me with the most deadly eyes I had ever seen.

"Evan!"

The door opened and I met Bryce's eyes. The moment he saw me tied to the radiator, he moved his hand to the gun, but it was too late. Delirious already tied him, throwing his body to the other side of the room.

"What the fuck?! Delirious, what are you doing?! Are you fucking insane?!" Bryce yelled, trying to get out of the ropes.

"I'm Delirious out of my mind," Delirious responded with the wide grin.

"No," Bryce breathed out, his eyes widened as he put two and two together.

"This can't be! You should be locked down! Jonathan promised us!" Bryce yelled confused.

"So, the situation is not good looking for both of you. Before I kill you, I want you to look at him dying first. Because I don't want risk anything," Delirious said towards Bryce, then moved his eyes on me.

What?!

He picked up the rope, throwing it over the lamp on the ceiling. He put the chair underneath it, after he was done with the rope. I gulped, trying to gather all my consciousness.

"Delirious! Delirious look at me," Bryce yelled, trying so hard to get from the ropes.

But the man didn't even winced. He looked at me firmly, a crazy smile appeared on his face. As he was walking towards me, my body finally snapped out of the painful trance. Adrenaline and fear of dying flew through my veins. Right at the moment when he was untying me, I pushed into him, making my way to the exit.

But I was just slow. Too slow for him. I was caught before I could have reach the door, thrown at the wall. He quickly dragged me to the rope, to the chair. As much as I defended myself, he just won.

"Jonathan! Jonathan, please!" I yelled, kicking around.

He tied the rope against my neck, laughing insanely. He stepped away from me, my vision already blurry from the tears. I was standing on the chair, my body shaking.

"Delirious! Stop! You motherfucking piece of shit, you don't want that useless man! You want me!" Bryce yelled once again.

"Oh, don't worry, you're going to die too," Delirious replied coldly.

"Jon... Jonathan, I beg you. Please, please, come back to me," I whispered, not even holding my sobs.

"I need you, I'm afraid, I'm lonely," I continued.

"Evan? Oh my God, Evan!"

I blinked several times, hope filled my body.

"Jonathan?" I whispered, feeling my racing heart.

That was the time when I heard Delirious' laughter again. All of my hope shattered again, just like that.

"He doesn't hear you, he doesn't want to hear you. He needs only me, not anybody else."

"He needed his mother and you killed her!" Bryce yelled, when it hit me.

A lullaby!

"Jonathan!!! You remember this?
Hush, little baby, don't say a word.
Mama's gonna buy you a mockingbird," I started to say, when I saw so much rage in the blue eyes.

"Fucking shit! Shut up!"

My chair was suddenly kicked away, the rope cutting into my neck, tying tightly so I couldn't breath. I decided not to give up, gather the last strength I had.

"So... hush... little... baby..."

And besides Bryce's scream the next thing I heard was a gunshot.
