"Come on JJ. Kick him on his ass and drop that shit in its hole." Maddy shouted out loud,  making everyone stare at us like WTF.
"Watch your language while you yell, Maddy." Wendy said annoyingly.
She clearly did not like being a center of attraction. Madison was just the opposite. She didn't care what others would think ;her status sort of didn't matter to her, it seemed.

It was TeamJ vs TheWinners. I just didn't know why Drake had to name his team TheWinners. That was ...absurd and self-obsessed kinda name. Jax played as his opponent. My feelings about the game were null. I liked to play it and not watch as an audience. It was boring . To see the game. Observing Jax and his perfect boys was what I liked.
I turned at Dutches. She was starting at the game like she's gonna lift the field up and crack it using her eyes. I chuckled and asked,
"Interesting right?" I asked her.

At first she didn't notice my say. Then she said, "What? The game ? No. Blahh.. I hate field games."
My mind was blown. I then asked, picking a drink ,"Then What makes you stare?"
"Look at him. The black shirt guy."
"V . Everyone is wearing a black shirt." Wendy poked in our chat from the behind, making a point.
"No. Number 4. He looks..."
"Handsome." I continued her.
She gave me a Watch what you say look. Then said,"Tired. He looks tired. He's sweating. Poor guy."

Gosh. She staring at the players. Not for what makes them look good, but their sweat. Ugh... Dirty.

My sight then caught Ryan. He was sitting two rows ahead of us. It didn't seemed he was happy. Just looked exhausted.
"Be right back." I said, placing the popcorn in Wendy's hands.
"Where are you going?" I didn't answer her and made way for me to pass.

I sat beside him and gave him a smile.

Ryan was my classmate and a friend. He had brown thick hairs ,straightened to cover his back of the neck. He didn't like girls or their company. So he never considered me more than just a class fellow.
"Enjoying the game?" I asked him , tried to be friendly.
He chuckled a side-smile and said, "Miss Pinchy. What makes you think about me?"

I turned towards him and gave him a serious look and tried to make things a serious way. "Look Ryan. I am not here to show you some sympathy that everyone is. I am here to investigate something. And I want you to answer some of my questions."

He sure was a little outraged because of my attitude. But he stayed calma nd said,
"Ask me."

"From when is this happening? I mean did you came across something unusual?"
I asked him, trying to convince him answer me.
At first he answered casually like "No. I don't know." Then suddenly something flashed him and he said,
"Wait a minute. I remember one thing. A day before all of this started. It was like a little weird... I don't think you'd believe..... I was walking home from school and I saw someone or maybe it was something at my porch. Then the last thing I remember was a tap on my shoulder. I was then found by Dad on the bench in the Rose garden. I don't know what happened exactly. Nobody does."

I was pretty sure by the fact that it musta been a goblin. Dutches saw one following him. I didn't just know what I was missing.

While I was in my thoughts, Ryan had left. I noticed he was walking the same unnatural way he does after school. I looked at my watch. It was 3:40pm- the same time of his earlier unnaturalness.
I got up and waved to Dutches.

We were now following him through the streets. He had his hoodie on and his hands in his pocket. I had a glance on his eyes. They were red. Lie he was possessed or something. I asked Dutches if she knew anything about it. She said,
"It can be hypnotism. Maybe someone is using Ryan you lend him some information or something. We saw him cross the street. He took us on the backstreet that wayed the Royal Rose Garden.

He took a left turn in the lane. We halted and inquired if it was clear. It was not.
