Chapter 36

Jax made a case on Jacob saying he tried to kidnap us. The decision was to send Jacob to jail so that he learns a lesson.

It was Jax's idea of keeping the real diary in Stoneland. Now it is with Queen Kilandra. And the book that Hagus took from Madison's back pack was a normal one. It was surprising that Hagus didn't notice it at first. Maybe because he thought that Humans are unintelligent.
Dutches made a wish to the Slate so that she comes to know how to use her powers. That was the first wish. The second wish was the one that I made to destroy Hagus completely. The Slate still has one last wish to be made.

It has been one year now. Dutches and her mom shifted 9 months back in the same town. Now they live two blocks away from my house.

We also came to know about the ferocious goblins later that week. It was Hagus who converted them into his bodyguards. Kilandra helped them to go back with the other goblins to their own dimension.

And the diary. It is now with the Queen of Stoneland. But the Slate of Wishes still stays with us.

But that night was horrible. So was the day. We did reach that place through the mirror
by following the goblins. But the worst part was that we didn't knew how to return. Later we found that we were 700 miles away from home. Somehow we managed various  lifts to home. It took us three days and two nights to reach home.

Mother was more than angry. She had called the police and made a missing report too.

Well now I think that if Dutches knew about her powers before, we could have destroyed Hagus then and there. But I feel that whatever happened, informed us various things and revealed unknown secrets.

Your mind must be still having various queries. My mind has them too.

So,
Today we are here, standing in front of my dressing mirror with our back packs ready. This time, we didn't plan to go in the woods for a holiday. But somewhere, where we can find answers to all our questions.

Wholely and soulfully, we are the people of  good. Take us as we wish to go the Stoneland.
