Chapter 39: Deep thoughts

Carson's P.O.V

" WHAT!" I scream.
Lucy's face goes from awkward to fearful. I need to stay calm for now. Then I can unleash all my anger.... I take a deep breath. " Okay," I say.
Lucy walks off. I'm gonna visit Mercy now. I should be in my own stretcher, but I can live with a broken leg. Plus a dislocated arm. It hurts, but not as much as I feel right now. I'm limping, and doctors are torturing me, but I couldn't care less.

Savannah's P.O.V

I was alone in a dank cell. The whole place stunk. It was not nice at all! " You, are going to be the bait!" I hear a voice say from the shadows.
" For what?" I say back angrily.
" For Mercy," He says.
" SHOW YOURSELF!" I scream angrily.
" Make your escape," He whispers.
Out of nowhere a key flies towards me. I grab it and run. This wasn't right, but I couldn't stay there any longer.

Mercy's P.O.V

" Hey.." Carson whispers.
" Hey...." I whisper back." Why are we whispering?" I ask in a quiet voice, but not a whisper.
" I dunno." He says in a quiet voice back.
Brace yourself for deep thinking:
Those who we really love in this world mean so much, that imagining a life without them is impossible. All of those feeling are directed at the gang. They're my home, my family.

However, the only romantic feelings are for Carson. He knows I love him, but he will never know how much he really means to me. Hell, he's my everything, we've had our fights, our arguments, but there's always that feeling, that both of us can't shake off. You may be thinking ' WHY THE HELL ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT THIS YOUR SISTER COULD BE DYING!' Keep in mind Mercy doesn't know about Savannah's situation...It's just, the recent events really make me vision a life without all this. A life with the old boring Mercy, the Mercy whom everyone hated, the Mercy no one loved..and more importantly, the Mercy who was abused.....
