My head is pounding so hard as I wake up. As I roomed my eyes to where I was, questions were flooding into my mind. How did I get here? The last time I remembered is I was in the parking lot when I feel dizzy and I think I lost my consciousness. But when someone entered my room, wearing a chef uniform and looking at me seriously. I knew it.
" Why every time we met, you're always in a messed up situation Sammy? " he asked me pissedly.
" Good morning too Jay. Thanks for last night. " I replied. Not minding his creased forehead.
" You spend the whole night here Jay? " I asked him when he didn't respond. I gulped when I saw how gloomy his face is. God! Alexis! He's mad!
" You're mad at me. " I stated. I looked down cause I can't meet his stare. I'm really selfish cause I'll choose to hide it from him when I can lend on his shoulders when he is willing to become my handkerchief when he was ready any time to hear my dilemmas. And I know, it's the reason why he's mad at me. I walked towards to him then I look up so I could meet his gazed, I released a heavy sighed.
" Look, I know I'm being unfair to you Jay. And I'm sorry. Don't get mad at me please? " I sincerely said. He still mad by the looks in his face. I really can't stand when Jay's like this, mad. He's my happy pill remember? So I used my weapon at him by making my face so sad matching it a puppy eyes. Let's see if you can resist me Jay.
I guess, it takes just seconds when he surrendered. See? Hindi niya ako matitiis! Ang bad ko! Then he let a sighed and cursed.
" Damn! You're forgiven Sammy but you owed me an explanation. Understand? " he said afterward. To my joy, I jump at him with a hug. He stiffed with my action cause he never expects it.
" So, what did you cook for breakfast? " I cheerfully said as I free myself from the hug.
" You're favorite. " he boredly said. My eyes twinkled. The favorite he means was Lasagna, eggs, and fries. I know, hindi pang breakfast but who cares right? I was about to run in the kitchen when he grabbed my hand.
" Take a bath first Sammy. We'll be late. I'm just in the living area. Hurry up. " he said authoritatively then he left my room.
I do as what he said. After I take a bath, I changed into our chef uniform. Then I went to the kitchen and we eat together and I told him everything happened from the start up until now. He just listened to my dramas eagerly like what I'm saying was that interesting. While we're heading in the parking lot, I'm still talking about it. And when I finished, he thanks me for telling it to him. It was really a big deal for him then he warned me that I should tell it to him next time.
" I don't wanna spend my whole time in the hotel Jay. Mababaliw ako. " I suddenly said out of nowhere.
" But you love cooking Sammy. " he replied while glancing at me.
" That's different from managing a hotel Jay. And I think, I'll have no choice at all. " I hopelessly said.
The whole ride was silent. Like his giving me some space to think, I was just back to myself when he declared that were here in the AIU. We both proceed to our rooms and as usual, students were eyeing us. While walking, we're both busy reviewing our lesson for today. We're actually, serious when it comes to our studies. While we're talking some stuff, I was distracted when my phone vibrated from my jeans. As I looked at it, it was from Gab saying, see you tonight Santillan with a smirk emoji. So, he will attend the party tonight? I shake the thought about the party later. Sa ngayon, I will focus on my class later.
