UPDATE: hopefully I addressed it good enough at the end but to the +LGBTQ community I accept you and encourage others to do so as well! We may have different views but I don't want anyone to think that we don't accept you. Everyone is welcome!

So many people have done a part on this so I don't really think I need to make a part on this but I want to so I am going to.

Homosexuality. Is it a sin? If so, why is it wrong? Are some people born to like the same gender? The Bible has stuff to say about it.

Leviticus 18:22 says "You shall not lie with a male as with a woman; it is an abomination". It is an abomination, a sin. Now some people might think well why is it a sin? Genesis 1:27-28 says "So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. And God blessed them. And God said to them, Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it, and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth". God created us in HIS OWN IMAGE and he created male and female. He created male and female to multiply. A male and a male cannot multiply just like a female and a female cannot multiply. It was never meant to be this way. When people of the same genders like each other and have a relationship we are going against God's plan for us and what he created us to do. When Adam was alone God saw that he needed someone so he made Eve. A male and female relationship is how it is suppose to be.

Now, are some people born to like the same gender? No! None of us were born "uniquely" and "separately" to like the same gender. If a guy does not have feelings for women and has no interest in them, it just means that the guy does not feel like getting into a relationship and God has a bigger purpose for him. As I've said before, Some people would rather remain single and not worry about relationships, marriage, etc. but the problem is so many people think that if they don't like women then they must like men. NO ONE is born to like the same gender. If we were, God would of told us about it. I have also said before that we can chose who we love. If you are a male and you like another male you are CHOOSING to like the person. Some people do it because they have the wrong desires.

I love romans 1:24-27 because it explains it so well. it says "Therefore God gave them up in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, to the dishonoring of their bodies among themselves, because they exchanged the truth about God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever! Amen. For this reason God gave them up to dishonorable passions. For their women exchanged natural relations for those that are contrary to nature; and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another, men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in themselves the due penalty for their error". They do it because it is their own choice and it leads them into sin. But good news! You can fight the sin and win because of Jesus and what he has done for you!

One thing I HATE is how people say that God hates homosexuals. If God did hate homosexuals he would hate everyone else as well. No one is perfect and everyone has problems. God loves the homosexuals but he hates the sin that they do! One thing I remember is to love the sinner hate the sin and I think we should remember that. We are all bound to fall in sin so we cannot say that we are better than homosexuals. We don't have to agree with what you do but we can accept you so to the +LGBTQ community I accept you and I hope you guys will as well. Do I think it's right? No but we should be accepting! Homosexuality is not going away anytime soon and people need to realize it is what it is now wrong or not.

I hope you guys learned a lot from this lesson! Homosexuals are people too so we should treat them like they are!  God loves everybody!
