I see the world in her eyes
She doesn't know it yet
But she will
On her sixteenth birthday
She'll finally know
What I hid so well
The stars in her eyes twinkle
Her lips softly pursed
I wish I could take the pain
She feels
Take her away from her parents
For they know not the angel
They have
I wish I could hold her
I could kiss her
I could tell her
What she means to me
But she's my sisters
Best friend
My little mate
Will have to wait
Until her sixteenth birthday
We all will sing
Til the clock chimes
When my sweet heart finally
Will see
That we were just meant to be
Her hand will be in mine
She'll no longer be shy
Her small figure will stay
By my side
For she is my world
All I see is her
Her eyes
Her hair
Her lips
Her hands
To touch everything that makes her
Kiss the ground she walks on
If I cannot have her lips
But she doesn't know it yet
On her sixteenth birthday
After we sing
That she will be the one
Kissing me
Just wait little mate
Don't give up
I will sing you to sleep
And be here when you awake
But stay little mate
Stay
My sister will see
What happiness I can bring
To you and her
Just by letting us be
I promise to share
Be the one to let you
Keep your friend
But you see little mate
You and I are to be
The stars twinkle right in your eyes
I see my world hidden in your
Beautiful scar
Just wait little mate
Until your sixeteenth birthday
