---|-/---

Josh was terrified of what might happen. Not just with his current relationship with Debby, but with everything else too. He couldn't sleep the night before because of all these nightmares about the car crash. Josh has had nightmares ever since the accident. Of all the blood, Chris's body, and that suspicious silver sedan. He really thought about the silver sedan. Maybe the owner really was after him after all. Everyone was against him.

Josh couldn't walk alone on the street anymore without feeling paranoid. He strongly believes that people are after him in a silver sedan, trying to hurt him. Josh now had to go to work, alone, on foot. It sent shivers down his spine.

It was only a few streets away, but Josh couldn't help but be terrified. He has seen the silver sedan right where he was going before. What if he saw it there again?

Josh kept walking down the sidewalk, looking around everywhere he went. He looked up in the now green trees and some of their dead leaves still remaining, the wet roads from the rain a few hours before, the grey clouds that covered the sky, everything within sight. He suddenly felt like all eyes were on him. He felt unsafe. He now regrets not going on his bike instead to get to work faster.

Josh felt even more terrified when he was getting closer to the music shop.

The silver sedan was right there, just where he had seen it the first time.

Josh was scared of what might happen if he approached it. Would he get hurt? Would something happen? Should he turn around and call in sick? Josh took a deep breath to try to calm himself down, but he couldn't. His thoughts about being followed continued to take over.

Even so, Josh kept walking anyways. He needed to find out. He needed to know who was the owner of the car. As Josh got closer, he noticed that it was the exact same licence plate. He hasn't memorized it, but Josh recognized it very well. It was the same one, and he was sure of it.

Someone walked out of the music store where Josh worked at. The person had the same dark hoodie on, and was the same height. Whoever it was approached the silver sedan, and its lights turned on. The car was clearly theirs.

"Hey!" Josh called, making the owner of the car turn around. As Josh got closer and the stranger turned around, he realized that it was someone who wasn't even a stranger to him at all.

"Brendon?"

"Josh?" Brendon asked surprised once he turned around to face him completely, but not as surprised as Josh was to see him. "Haven't seen you since the party." Brendon smiled.

Josh didn't understand. Brendon just could not have been the owner of this car. He was more confused than ever.

"I don't understand." Josh said to himself. "You?" he looked back up at Brendon.

"What?" Brendon's eyebrows furrowed. "What about me?" Brendon was also confused.

"I- you were at the accident. Your car was there!" Josh said in disbelief, this has to be some sort of dream. He was not suspecting Brendon to be the owner of the silver sedan of his reoccurring nightmares at all.
